You really think we'll have a worse record than this lot? Jets, Bengals, Texans, Jags, Chargers, Broncos, Eagles, Giants, Redskins, Dallas, Vikings, Falcons? I think you're looking more at the 8th or 9th pick.

Assuming we lose this weekend.

Bengals and WFT play this weekend so one of them will have 3 wins a possibly move below us in the draft.

Chargers have JETS JETS JETS so that wiill give them 3 wins and another candidate we can move in front of.

Eagles are already behind us due to the tie.

Texans have the Pats, probably not but they are home and as they say.  "Any given Sunday"

Vikings are already behind us with 4 wins.  Dallas is a mess so I don't expect too much but I'll be pulling for them due to it helps our draft position.

Falcons are facing a J. Winston lead team.  Who the hell knows how well he will do.  Falcons are playing better and this might be an interesting game.

It's possible by the end of the week we could be as high as 4 or 5.

relax, we're not gonna have to root for us to lose for us to lose. we're just gonna lose

I'd never root for a loss but our talent and injuries put us in this position.  Play well and if we win I'll be happy, if not I'll watch the draft board and watch us move up.   I am just thankful that we aren't watching the 2010 JC lead Panthers.

david carr was just as bad for me.  like when they'd show him on the sideline fixing up his makeup and hair, and the extra whitener his mom used on his jersey and teeth, and the little dutch boy/school boy haircut.   that was painful.  its right up there with pickles picture of all his high school rings on his hand where he has his hair spiked and looks like an ostrich

That is what I would prefer get us up there with a chance at Wilson.

ffs, we aren't getting a top 5 pick.  Too many bad teams this year.

We'll end up with 5 wins, easy.  Maybe six.  Obviously we're going to beat the Saints in the last game, it's a tradition at this point.  And we're going to win at least one of Denver and Washington.  With five wins, we're between 7 and 12 draft position.

Were you drunk when you said this nonsense because we are not even close to beating a team that will destroy us badly. There is no way we will beat the Aints. As of now we are sitting at pick #9 in the draft unless that does change by the end of the season.

We can beat the Lions without CMC. We aren't likely to beat the Lions without Teddy.

The drop off from CMC to Davis isn't astronomical, the drop off from Teddy to PJ Walker is likely to be.

We'll find out in about 6 days....

Yes. A lot of talk that we need to upgrade starting QB but we also probably have the worst backup situation. I guess if we draft QB in round one, teddy would be the backup.

If the draft happened today we would have the #8 or 9 pick depending on tie breakers with NYG.

3 of the teams currently picking ahead of us would not be drafting a QB: Cin, Hou, LAC.

Was and Dal play each other one more time, as do NYG and Dal, so one of them will win at least one more game. We also play Was the second to last game of the season. Depending on how things play out that could be a very important game for draft position.

Was also has games left against Cin and Phil. Dal has an even easier schedule with games left against NYG, Cin, Phil, SF, and Min. NYG plays Cin as well and that and Dal are their most winnable games so we need them to beat the Bengals this week.

I don’t think we can count on picking ahead of Jax or NYJ, but as high as the #3 pick is still a realistic possibility. Hopefully the Bengals lose their games to the NFC East and the East cannibalizes itself.

Tank for Charlie Brewer!

In all seriousness...

Micah Parsons.

Hell, get em both. Draft Parsons, and pick up Brewer as a UDFA and boot PJ and Will. Seriously, how bad is Greir if PJ beat him out?

IF we can't get one of the top 3 QB's in the first round,  who could we grab at 40ish? Trask? Newman? Jones? I don't follow college football, but these are some names that I've seen popping up as the 2nd tier QB's in this draft. Anyone that is ready to start day 1? How about after a season (or partial season) behind Teddy? I also think that we continue to lose until we fix the Oline, whoever else we put on the roster.

I really think thats what's going to happen if we are picking outside of the top 3, maybe even if we are in the top 3.

Get a QB in the 3rd range. Probably pick up brewer if he gets to UDFA. I just don't see them going top QB this year unless Brady and Rhule are in love with one of them.
