Joe would have been no better than Teddy at this stage in his career.

Catch me on most "other games" threads...

Burrow was far better as a rookie on an atrocious team than Teddy's ever been in his life. Period.

This ^  Before his injury Burrow was playing better than Teddy on a worse team.  Would that make us a playoff team?  Maybe, Maybe not

What Burrow was doing as a rookie, on that bad of a team was actually very impressive.

A worse team offensively or defensively? You could argue they have better offensive talent.

You can make an argument for anything you want, but you can't make a very good argument for that the Bengals having more talent on offense than us, especially if you're talking about outside of QB.

Their stats are basically identical with injuries to the same groups on offense. Not sure what you can point to in order to support your argument...

For those interested, Howell from NC is in a battle now with ND.

Phil Longo is the Mike Shula of the NCAA, except he has elite talent across the board at the skill positions. He looks brilliant as long as Plan A works, but if it doesn't or the opposition makes adjustments, he doesn't even know the option for a Plan B exists.

UNC had virtually all of their offensive success in the first two drives. Once ND got the feel for how Phil was planning to attack them it was over because Phil didn't have a counter punch.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
