So Skill and Talent aren't the same thing.. Okay.. So is this a Physical question size speed power I guess?? I still think Teddy is bigger similar speed and similar arm strength.. Teddy is way more accurate..

Teddy is Taller, that's it. If you honestly think he has the same speed or arm strength.......I mean, jeeze

That 1 deep pass, hitting a receiver in stride down the field, is something Teddy has also done maybe once (to Moore) in all his starts this season. Took PJ one game. It's an element that has been sorely missing.

Does this game mean Walker is better? Absolutely not. It does, however, show some of what PJ brings to the table and that he did it after less than a week of starter prep (according to reports that he and Grier split practice with the 1s) is encouraging. If folks were ready to declare the man after games earlier this year, then it's only fair to also say that PJ deserves more looks.

Really?? Teddy only has 1 deep pass all season??

Okay.. smh! Every year we do this.

I said hit a receiver in stride on a pass like that. 'In stride' is the key qualifier there, though the 47 air yards are also near or father than a Teddy season long as well.

No skill and talent aren't the same thing. You really don't understand that?

You have no facts to back anything you say right now..

Do you have both of their 40' times??

How do you know who has the stronger arm or better velocity?? Do you have a speed gun and tested them on throws?? Show something..

And? Bridgewater has scrambled from equally bad pass-rushers and not looked downfield once. Yes the Lions are bad but they're not the only bad defense we've played this year. You keep applying hyperbole to things that no one is saying. Nobody is saying that he's perfect by any stretch, we just want to see more because we see a higher potential than the known entity with Bridgewater (which is on the low side of average). By all means, continue with your stupidity of putting words in others peoples optimism.

1st game if the year 2nd play if the highlight is the exact thing "You" said Teddy doesn't do..lol

I’d say talent falls more along physical attributes. Skill is attained through self awareness and reps.

Being clutch and able to be calm under pressure is probably an intangible talent

I'm not going to watch the video because I was obviously being facetious, but also poorly worded on my part (I meant he's scrambled from worse rushers and not looked downfield during that scramble specifically) Of course Teddy has thrown passes while scrambling but it's not often and he very obviously doesn't keep his eyes downfield the majority of the time while doing so.

    • I think his football IQ is well below average. I do not think he can read defenses at all. He is not the long term answer. I'm getting worried about DC. I think he has problems seeing the big picture for each game. Some people can't accept it, but this game is greatly affected by momentum. It's hard to explain but you can just feel his decisions break it at least two or three times a game (I think he is pretty solid when it comes to 4th down decisions). My biggest concern is this. You have seen these coaches time and time again. For some reason you have these coaches that absolutely will not go with what is working. We need a name for these coaches, what is it? If something is working great, they just do not have the intelligence to comprehend that something working is actually good for their team. They cannot understand this. AND REPORTERS NEED TO CALL THIS OUT. Rushing was insane for the past two games...ok let's take half his carries away and have Bryce air it out (look at the attempts he had). The reporters need to freaking ask "((this)) was working, you didn't do ((this)), do you consider that bad coaching? If so, why? If not, why do you defend doing the opposite of what it best?" Anyone knows you keep doing something until they stop it. But you have these coaches that think the are going to pull a fast one on them and do the thing that is not working. Dave is starting to remind me of that guy in the movie Kung Pow. I think his name was Weeblow or something, he had those squeaky shoes when he ran around. The Kung Fu masters trained him wrong as a joke, so he did things to get the crap beat out of him instead of winning the fight. I am going to start calling Dave Canales WEEBLOW if he keeps doing the opposite of what would win. But seriously, if he is going to be that type of coach, I would honestly get rid of him after this season. You 100% do not want a coach with this flaw...they may have one good fluke season but it will be years of terrible teams.
    • I mean the Bronco's only won by 1, but no one there is complaining.
    • A QB who can't consistently throw the ball 20 yards downfield has no business being a starting QB in this league. That is a backup QB who you put in there to manage a game when your starter goes down.
