Seeing Walker makes me see Teddy's limitations too

I don't think many coaches would, but TB's room for error likely got significantly smaller after today.

It takes an awful lot to convince me to bench a starting quarterback.

All true...but whitehead is awful

Wouldn't debate that.

You were replying to @KSpan earlier and above as well.

And now you are all over the place and literally change your argument every time. You posted a highlight of the Raiders game and said the second play of the game. It was a 16 yard completion. Do you forget stuff you post after you post it or feign ignorance to not be wrong? Your post above was in direct reply to deep passes and now that I say your example was 36 yards shorter than the pass today and now you have no idea what highlight you posted. SMH.

Like I posted above and you ignored because of my joke, the staff said PJ has the strongest arm. PJ had the better pro day time and looks faster. The announcers repeated the strongest arm comment multiple times in the broadcast. It’s like you get caught saying something incorrect and just go elsewhere. You just can’t admit being wrong.

Just to be clear I've said nothing about scrambling, looking downfield while scrambling, etc. I will say, however, that Walker on the field obviously and immediately contrasts Teddy and I struggle to understand how some people don't see it.

He threw 2 of the worst red zone int"s I've ever seen.  PPL need to relax.

Rhule commented on those by saying in the Brady offense, the WR has reads and the QB has reads, if they aren’t in synch, those interceptions happen

PJ has played one game

players can have a meeting of minds with repetition

what players can’t do is have velocity and mobility they were not born with

We'd be undefeated if our defense shut out every team like today. We would have no concept of not being able to make a comeback. We would have put up a lot more pts with our starter healthy.

I'm just glad to see a some defense for a change. That makes all the difference in the world.

As it should be.

TB was a last minute scratch today, so chances are he is back in the saddle next week vs. the Vikings.

Let's see how he does, maybe he can put this PJ talk to rest, or maybe not.

I'm pretty sure there are some people on here who would bench Bridgewater for Jimmy Clausen.

IMO Teddy has had 9 games to preemptively put such discussions to bed. The fact that this is even a discussion at all says a lot.

I know. Some people won’t give up. What @LinvilleGorge was saying about skill and talent makes sense. It was obvious that PJ had some arm talent displays today Teddy doesn’t have and the coaches said he’s got the strongest arm. Teddy’s been the starter all year and has years of NFL experience so he’s got more skill and wouldn’t make as many bad interceptions. He’s had a few crucial mistakes but not as many unforced errors. It’s not crazy to say PJ has more physical ability but Teddy is more polished/skillful at QB. I don’t even think PJ is a long term answer. I think Detroit is that bad, but PJ showed why IMHO Teddy isn’t the long term answer.

True.

However, a lot of today's post game talk is due to the Panthers defense finally showing up after weeks of being MIA.

How many of TB's losses earlier this season would have been W's had the Panthers defense played a better game?

True.

Look, at this point I'm fine with Rhule exploring his options at QB, but I'd be surprised to see him bench TB next week if he is ready to play.

I’d be shocked if Teddy gets benched and I’m not one calling for it unless Rhule and Brady think PJ could actually be the future answer. I just hope PJ’s day today makes them realize that Teddy isn’t the answer long term. We’ve already wasted 3 years by bringing our buddy Marty back. I don’t want to keep wasting years trying to build a super team to get around Teddy’s issues or somehow not think that Moore is worth resigning because he’s wasted a bit with Teddy.
