Rudolph isn't the only one wide open either

I wasn't a fan of the conservative playcalling but what can you do when you have 3 guys watching the underneath route and a CB hesitating and getting burned on the other side of the field

That's just bad execution, seriously wtf?

This is why I have a tough time putting much of the blame on the coaching staff.

We lack talent in a lot of important areas (which everyone knew prior to the season), coaching can only overcome so much. We’ve seen guys blow assignments multiple times this season.

Snow has been put into a tough spot given the talent he has to work with.

Shaq and Tre Boston

2 of Hurney's BIG signings this offseason

Something tells me Shaq should be playing that TE in front of him and Boston has no business running up like that. I’d think a S should be covering a deeper route. I don’t even know where Boston is heading. I at least feel like I have an inkling on why Shaq is where he is.

This I woke up this morning and regathered.

Had Teddy hit those few Wide azz open passes down the stretch.

There would be no criticizing the staffs clock management, only praising how wr were actually aggressive which our fan base cried for under Rivera.

It was a joke. I thought that was pretty obvious.

Are you cranky from the soreness from all the mental gymnastics you've been doing to defend Teddy?

Actually I'm pretty amused at the suggestion that I'm defending Teddy. But again, I know why you see it that way.

Now with that said, there's plenty of Bridgewater conversation going on. Why bring it here?

    • I'm just tired of ppl saying he's so accurate and then have to see recievers slow down to recieve the ball, ruining any chance at YAC
    • Some people will really look at stuff like this and say "no more excuses" but then make excuses to try and explain away the validity of big-time throws. 🙃   Back on topic though, as I mentioned in the other AT thread earlier, I hope that the team is still exploring the deal. If the Vikings want the Panthers to take on some of the salary, then it had better be at worst a 4th-round pick (though I imagine Dan angling for a 3rd). If they're willing to take on all of it, then maybe at worst a 5th. Tough pill to swallow, giving up a 4th for a 35yr old WR, but if MIN believes they can have similar success behind McCarthy then it could be a smart deal for them. Hell, if AT has any gas in the tank and gives them a 1yr sweetheart deal to close out at home, even better for Minnesota. Yea, Bryce loses his best and most reliable WR. Hunter Renfrow though isn't what I would call a huge step down though (if he's as advertised throughout camp), and it gives more reps to TMac + XL + Coker. This season is all about continued development and answering some of the looming questions (Is Bryce the guy? Is Evero the DC going fwd? How do the young WRs develop? How long does it take this defense to bounce back from being historically awful?).
    • The trade might go down today or tomorrow then, if it happens.
