Regarding draft scenarios

Naturally, we're all going to look at options based on where we are now. No argument with that.

But it's worth remembering that our draft position at this point is not locked in.

We have at least one, and possibly two, winnable games left on the schedule. That, plus we can still be affected by what other teams do.

Hate to say it because I know some folks are gonna be ready to burn the stadium down if it happens, but dropping down to a lower draft position is unfortunately a very real possibility.

There is a chance the Ain'ts will be locked in to a seed by the time we play them.  If so, that would be a winnable game.  I don't think the Redskins is a winnable game though.  Rivera and his team will be super motivated, and their defense is good.  And we have played to the level of the competition this year.  We might not break double digits against them.  We lose 17-9 imo.

great point.

I haven't looked at all of the scenarios but I would guess picking 7-9 is as likely as picking 4 or 5.  Honestly we probably won't know until after the last weekend.

After last night and the seemingly widening rift between Teddy and Rhule, I think regardless if we are 4 or 10, we are gonna get a QB one way or another.  Could be wrong but I just have a gut feeling.

Even if the top four quarterbacks are all gone before our pick?

From what I've seen, guys like Trask and Jones are late first round picks. Even if we drop, we're not dropping that far.

Oh I meant we would probably trade up. Not that I am a fan of of that with Hurney, but I do think it’s very possible.

We’ll make Haskins look like a future HoFer just like we do to all struggling QBs. Drew Lock had his best game of the season against us. Doesn’t matter what trash is at QB, our D will make them look like a franchise QB.
