Belichick today refused to say whether he had actually commented on the "Josh Allen hype" as it was referred to.

I'm guessing he probably did.

Know why? Look at the game logs from both meetings this year. McDermott outcoached him, all talent aside.

Game 1: Allen throws a total of 18 passes, and Buffalo uses the run game (190 yards & 3 TDs) to control the game.

Game 2: Allen throws 36 passes for 320 and 4 TDs. And the run game still produced 133 yards.

We used to credit Rivera with outcoaching Belichick.

Makes me wonder how much of it was McDermott.
