I don’t think this is Alabama’s     best defensive squad. They aren’t dominate at all.
national championship of Clemson and Alabama might go over 100 total score

Saban has simply adjusted to the new rules.

He couldn't beat the Spread so he joined it. Then turned it into an unstoppable monster.

I’d like to see him playing from behind or under pressure, but you can’t fault him for having talent around him. Lawrence and Burrow have and had talent all around them and aren’t/weren’t faulted for it.

Burrow constantly made tough throws downfield though. I just don't see that from Jones. He's a damn good college QB, I just don't see him making many tough throws downfield. That's not a knock on him really, he doesn't have to.

I like Jones.  If the top 4 are gone, I might go Jones at #9.

Talk me off the ledge somebody.

I think Mac is very comparable to Kirk Cousins. He is definitely an NFL caliber player, but I don't really ever see him becoming one of the top guys. I'd rather take Lance, but I might be okay with it if we traded down a few slots.

I'd say he's a slightly better version of Cousins, but it's tough to know now because of the talent around him. Like others, I'd like to see how he performs under pressure. He did spin away from that safety blitz and threw a laser to his TE early on, but I'm hoping ND can apply some more consistent pressure. Hopefully Kelly gets desperate and starts blitzing like crazy.

I think one of Mac's biggest strengths is his ability to navigate the pocket. If he had even a little bit of athleticism he would probably go top 10

If he is great at navigating the pocket, has great accuracy, and throws a good deep ball, I’m not sure why he won’t be top pick. Is his 40 time like insanely slow? Brady, Brees, and Manning were all slow and Herbert isn’t really a speedster...

On a side note the ND QB might make a decent career backup in the NFL...

He has a nice long ball, but doesn't have the arm of Fields or Wilson. He also gets nicked for having All-Americans all around him.
