Another very good option. Some of the early ones were 'OK, due diligence and should make the better candidates stand out from that pack'. Now we are looking at the better options. I am so excited.

The only name I'm still waiting to hear is Jeff Ireland.

Pretty much everybody expects that one. Albert Breer noted that the team has already "done a lot of homework" on him.

LaCanfora is the only one I've seen mention Paton and Borgonzi so far.

Borgonzi would be our third Chiefs request.

Amazing, I wonder if any team before has ever shown interest in interviewing this many GM candidates? I absolutely love it, we should be turning over every single stone in this search. It's a critical hire.

When we hired Gettleman didn’t it feel like we only interviewed 4 people?

Five, I think. I remember Gettleman, Marc Ross, Lake Dawson, George Paton and a CFL guy whose name escapes me. Possible I missed someone but that's all I remember.

I think we had something like seven candidates lined up for the coaching search. We interviewed Bieniemy, McCarthy and Rhule, had one scheduled for McDaniels and we're pondering Stefanski and someone else but the Rhule interview ended that process early.

The current count for this cycle is nine.

CFL guy was Jimmy Popp I think.  He is from Mooresville. And was a GM in the CFL. I could be wrong though.
