I'm surprised that Pederson hasn't been fired already! As a player, I wouldn't want to play for that guy. How can you trust him?

See, I would have expected that if he was going to pull a stunt like that, he'd have done it with ownership's approval (or at least the blessing of the GM).

If Pederson made that move on his own, oh boy was that stupid!

I have to imagine this is the quickest a coach has ever gone from Super Bowl victory to in danger of being fired.

Might have to look up the time frame for Jimmy Johnson's firing in Dallas, but that's kinda different in that it wasn't really Johnson's fault.

He comprised the integrity of the game and shouldn’t coach in the NFL again.  When half the team was furious to the point of wanting to physically go after him it’s clear he has lost that team.  Hope those few draft positions were worth it.  Too bad he won’t be around to help make that pick

From the Panthers side of things, this could be another head coaching opportunity for Joe Brady if he doesn't get one of the others.

Word out of Atlanta though is that Terry Fontenot is a finalist for the Falcons GM job. A lot of people have speculated a Fontenot-Brady combo down there.

Mike McCarthy lasted 6 years I think after his SB win.  This would certainly be pretty fast.

i am from PA and most of my family are Eagles fans.  They are tired of Pederson.  They claim he can’t develop players, can’t make adjustments, and had piss poor game management.
