Carrier seems odd to me in the sense that he's been with the team forever starting from when he was a player.

But in the sense that he wasn't tied to Matt Rhule, Scott Fitterer or David Tepper? No.

For the record, Porter was basically the guy who replaced Brandon Beane in his old logistical role when Beane moved on up to personnel.

He came aboard about the same time Marty did.

It sucks to lose an old Panther like Carrier. But if it is for the best of the organization, so be it.
