Also in civil cases there is no presumption whether someone is innocent or guilty. Just whether or not they owe redress.

In which case it’s pretty obvious deshaun owes something.

That's taking it a bit far. That's what the trial(s) determine.

He is not entitled to a presumption of innocence. You’re just using words you don’t understand. Unless you know more than like every law review in the country.

Like literally the first google search from Virginia law review

The presumption of innocence represents a political and moral consensus that criminal defendants should not be subject to punishment until adjudicated guilty under a strict standard of proof. Although this concept has long been recognized as the hallmark of the criminal law, its potential application to civil proceedings has been largely neglected. Civil defendants enjoy no presumption of innocence.

In my opinion due process and the presumption of innocence are inextricably linked...

...you are entitled to think otherwise, America is a free country after all.

Lmao moving on to “well I don’t know if this pattern of sexual assault deserves redress” is a hell of a take

Just skip the entire judicial process  and dish out punishment is a hell of a take.  You aren't making a lick of sense.

I’m not going to infer whether he’s innocent or guilty but some of you making excuses for men seeking out Instagram models while they’re in relationships tells all about your character and your attachment to athletes when you can justify it to yourself that this level of filth is “OK.”

Yeah, this coupled with him trying to force his way out of his new contract already doesn't give me great feelings about his character. Though again, it's just my hunch not a verdict.

well every complaint alleges he was just randomly looking for people on instagram and there will presumably be evidence of this but nah all these women are SLUTS DOWN TO GIVE AN OLD FASHIONED

TMZ's sources say Watson didn't find the massage therapists "out of the blue." He reportedly reached out to various friends, teammates and associates to get recommendations.
