PJ isn’t a starting QB in the NFL. He was out of the league before the XFL. He looked bad in the limited time he did play. When he was in the XFL he was playing against sub-par talent. That would make any QB look good. 
PJ Walker will never be an NFL starter. If Darnold fails we will likely, finally, draft a QB. Probably have to move up.

I'm up there in age, I remember the int in the RedZone...yeah those can't be made..but lets give him the S.A.M. treatment...watch everything else. Forget those like they never happened...ain't that what's been said to S.a.M...

This was PJ's first game as an NFL starter, so let's call it his floor. Remember no first team reps.... undrafted...vs..1st round pick

Darnold was out week 11, injuries...

But he did bounce back week 12..and I think this Darnold's ceiling to be honest... he would have to play this way every game.

You do realize the Panthers aren't actually interested in your input, right?

You can make a hundred more of these stupid threads on this board if you want and it's not going to make a damn bit of difference.

There's a difference between framing an idea as something you hope for and framing it is a suggestion to the team.

The team isn't taking suggestions from fans.

Like I said, you are missing the point of the message board. The delivery style is relatively irrelevant, these are points of discussion. Doesn't matter how repetitive, how dumb, how much you disagree, etc.

I FOR SURE know PJ Walker isn't getting a shot at this starting job outside of injury. But if this guy wants to lay out his case, so be it.

I don’t care for Grier, PJ or Tommy. We have no backup much less one of them challenging Darnold for starter. This is facts buddy!

      To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.

      Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
