The team has sent out so many mixed smoke signals that we really can't trust any of this stuff. If we did it would mean that they were either ready to trade everything for a shot at a QB, trade down to get 47 picks and a crate of footballs, or sh!t the bed by picking a WR at #8.

I sure hope Rhule and Co. have a better idea of what to do than it's looking like from the outside.

Sports journalist's generic list of lies for the Panthers draft (2021 close your eyes and point edition):

- Sources tell me the Panthers are going to make a big trade to go up to draft Wilson.

- Sources tell me the Panthers will stay put and draft a WR.

- Sources tell me the Panthers are high on Fields and want him at 8.

- Sources tell me the Panthers want to trade down because they need more picks and don't like the QBs.

- Sources tell me the Panthers _____________

      This is good on many accounts. We've talked about his game management skills and being overwhelmed trying to do too much.  We've talked about his inconsistent offense and how maybe it would be better if someone else was the oc.  We also saw how bad idziks offense was in the preseason.  This move along with bevels hire addresses all of this.  They know they can't back into the playoffs with a losing record again. They are actively trying to improve.  Will it work? TBD. But they are definitely trying and seem to have a plan

      Canales should only call 4th down attempts lol we actually faired well in my opinion on crucial 4th downs last year

      HUGE difference when you get Miles and Moose back…add Coby as your #2 PG, move Kalk to #2 C, Sion, Grant Williams, and Josh Gordon all on your #2 squad. I’m even high on Salaun, PJ Hall, and Tre Mann…but as THIRD teamers that’s what’s up.
