The four Panthers trades:

The Panthers sent No. 39 and 151 to the Bears in exchange for Nos. 52, 83 and 204.

The Panthers traded back to No. 59 in the second round from No. 52, sending the Cleveland Browns pick No. 113. Carolina also got pick No. 89.

The Panthers traded up to No. 70, and sent No. 73 and 191 to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Panthers traded No. 89 to the Texans. They received No. 109, No. 158 and a 2022 fourth-round pick.

Panthers players drafted:

Pick No. 59: LSU WR Terrace Marshall Jr.

Pick No. 70: BYU OT Brady Christensen

Pick No. 83: Notre Dame TE Tommy Tremble

The remaining picks are:

Fourth round: Pick No. 109

Fifth round: No. 158

Sixth round: Nos. 193, 204, 222

Fitterer previously worked with the Seattle Seahawks, who are known for trading back, especially in the first round.

The Panthers are looking to add to a variety of positions in this year’s draft and getting more picks was a priority coming into the weekend. Often, the most successful teams in the draft are those with the most draft selections.

Carolina was not known for trading back under former general manager Marty Hurney, and made big moves to trade up in the order during each of the last two drafts. In 2019, the Panthers traded up to acquire left tackle Greg Little in the second round and moved into the second round in 2020 to take hybrid defender Jeremy Chinn.

14 minutes ago, Agent Blue said:

tommy doyle seems enticing.

He is off the scale in the metrics. 6'8" 320 and can play both Tackle positions. Has played against Ohio State's Young and Iowa's Espinoza and had good games. This looks like a Rhule guy.

seriously though we drafted Marshall to replace Anderson in the future as well as some of the big play ability we will miss from Samuel.

we drafted Tremble to replace Armah, Manhertz and Thomas all in one.

drafting Michael Carter would replace Mike Davis and provide insurance / rest for CMC.

he's a def one of the BPA's which is what Rhule said they're going for, this is actually a legitimate need though...so yeah.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
