That’s not what they are known as lmao. And it’s definitely not more with less. Kyle Allen actually had a game where he carried the team. Teddy did not. Brady did not go from college kid to whiz kid. Are you high? Drunk? You keep making things up. Again, just admit you lied. Go to your new forum.

I see you're banging that moving target again. So instead of Kyle Allen being better than Teddy, he just had a better game than Teddy. I guess everything looks better from the basement.

Whatever you say idiot. I'm a fan of many players outside of the Panthers. One thing I'm not going to do though is fuging Stan for Bridgewater. Anybody that's putting as much effort into defending Bridgewater's honor as you are has to either be related to him or autistic.

He's a decidedly mediocre QB. He's not as bad as many want to make him out to be but he's a bottom tier starter or solid backup QB. Moving on from Bridgewater is a good decision by the Panthers. Whether or not Darnold was the right decision to make as the next move has yet to be seen.

There's a whole lot of justification going on around here. If you're done with him, be done with him.  I'll get tired of talking to myself sooner or later. It's more about I think this team is going to poo, and y'all think that I'm full of poo anyway. I'm just enjoying the state of the Panthers more than I care to admit, and all of the low brow justification about Teddy continues to feed in to it.

Kyle Allen lead offense was 20th in offense in the NFL. Teddy B was 24th this year. Kyle Allen took over two games and was absolutely the reason we won them. Teddy never had that game as a Panther. Vikings, Jets, Saints, Panthers, Broncos on a 1 year deal… so another team next year… I’m sure five franchises are wrong about Teddy. L O L

Do you remember this?

I think you somehow are confusing team success with individual success. Teddy got carried in Minnesota and they let him walk away. They chose Case Keenum and Kirk Cousins over him. Teddy got carried in New Orleans and they chose Taysom Hill and Jamies Winston over him.

Has your definition of carried changed in the last two days? Did CMC not have 2300 total yards and 19 touchdowns that year? when one running back matches the quarterback in touchdowns, did he carry that quarterback? I hope you don't have different playing fields for Kyle Allen and Teddy Bridgewater because that would be kind of messed up if you did.

Now, let me run a stat line by you. 17-20-0  231yds  4tds  1rushing  154.4 rate. Now is that a good day? Has Kyle Allen ever had a day better than that. If so lets take a look at that, and see if you're on a level playing field.

I said there were two games where Allen carried the Panthers and you listed CMCs season stats. You aren’t reading.

I also said that he carried the Panthers in our offense. Which Teddy did not. You aren’t reading. The most TDs Teddy had in a game in Carolina was 3. So wherever you are pulling 17-20 for 231 yards 4 passing TDs and 1 rushing TD wasn’t with us. That was 2015 with the Vikings. Not our offense.

Kyle Allen had a four touchdown passing day in our offense in his first start. Teddy never had a game where he even threw 3.

Im not going to engage you further. You are a trash tier troll who won’t be around once the season starts anyway. Of all players to die on a hill for you chose the guy who has a career high of 15 passing TDs lmao. I seriously hope your week gets better.

The Panther offenses of 2019 and 2020 were completely different, so whatever nuanced point you were aiming at does not apply. Kyle's best game was in 2019, Teddy's was in 2015. Which one was better?

Y’all really think this team is going to win anything with Sam? What a delusional fan base man.

Come on Ace, don’t join the Debbie Downer side! Am I skeptical of Darnold? Sure. There is still a decent chance he could be good. Put it this way, he is the most talented QB our staff has had to work with. Most of his issues are mental and we can see how good Brady/Rhule really are. It will be fun/interesting to say the least! My main concern was we didn’t sign or draft a capable backup in case he does struggle or get hurt...

Anything is possible but there are lofty expectations floating around. You don't think he will put up yards and points in this offense? The question is will he also pile up turnovers especially if the line does not come together as quickly as the front office hopes. It is a gamble that we are once again closing our eyes and hoping for the best at left tackle. Despite all the optimistic takes we are going on seven years now since our last legitimate starter protected the blindside of our qb. All the fluff pieces in the world can't change that overnight.

I guess it depends on what you mean by “win anything”. Am I expecting him to take us to a Super Bowl? We’ve only been there twice. I’d set my goals lower and hope to go up from there. A winning record two years in a row is something this franchise has never done. I’d like to do that. I think Sam can accomplish that over the next 3 years.

Who knows how good he'll be, but I'm more excited starting the season with Darnold as the QB than I was with Bridgewater or the broken down Newton.

My expectations are that he not be the reason we lost the game.  Anything better than that is gravy.

    • Canales up first. Guys got their legs back yesterday and started a little slow when they came out Bryce challenged them in the huddle and they responded "Dominant practice for the defense today." Praised turnovers, "beautiful hits," and being physical Praised Moehrig, Ransom, Incoom, and Jones II Confirmed playing starters. Predominantly a young team and can't pass up an opportunity. Emphasized game day routines such as nutrition, body readiness, etc. Plus it's a bunch of new guys on the defense. Bryce will start. Will play them the first two, but starters might sit for the third game depending on how practice goes that week. Nic Scourton has a mild hamstring that happened in special teams. DJ Johnson had an issue with his hip flare up and is getting checked out this afternoon. Experimenting with approach to preseason games. In Seattle they played their starters in all but the last preseason game and what Pete Carroll was looking for in terms of mental readiness to play football. Thomas Incoom has been getting a lot of work with AC Carter adding to his toolbelt. Getting better as a rusher and being physical in the run game. Looking for a consistency in response. 1pt for a win, 3pts for a TD. Defense doesn't like that, but in games if they give up one go ball the score can swing. They challenged the pass game and the run game today. Guys are getting together before, between, and after team drills to challenge each other Job of the coaching staff to set the foundation for our schemes, philosophy, and expectations of what it's like to play Panthers football. Powerful when players take that and the locker room owns it. That's when it becomes our team, their team. At the end of the day, the men on the field have to rebound from a bad play, celebrate the good plays, and keep each other in tune for a whole game. Robert Hunt is amazing. Size, talent, quickness, flexibility. Really intelligent guy that there will say himself there are technique things he needs to work on. Regardless of where players are at, there's a constant learning curve and loves that Big Rob is challenging himself with the position coach. Thinks the digital down and distance can be really valuable. Getting the information quickly will help with the flow of the game. Thought TMac looked great but there were some near misses that he'll have to get in the room and communicate with Bryce on while reviewing film. James Mitchell keeps doing right and his trust factor is increasing with the QBs. If you're right and the coverage says the ball goes there, it'll come. Had some issues at the start of camp but is trending up. Newton or Person: "It looked like today was beyond thud but short of live. What do you call that?" Canales: "No, that's thud. In my mind, that's what thud should look like. The challenge for our defensive guys is can you put your body in a position where we know that would've been a tackle." Whizzing by, tagging with two hands, etc doesn't show you whether you would've made a tackle. That's not real football. Let's the play extend because guys have to be ready to chase sometime where the ball squirts out from a pit. Can't train to say "Ah, it was a tackle" and relax but instead play with intensity through the whistle. Lathan Ransom is bringing the physical style of play that they saw on film. Has been really into the details and someone that they can count on. Has really given himself a chance to start at the other safety position. Excited for the extra energy from a game-like environment that they'll get from FanFest. Used to have four preseason games and now FanFest feels like that first one. Will give ST full speed reps to evaluate. Making plays and feeding off of the fans. Window closed quickly on the INT to finish practice. CSW baited Bryce with some movement and made a great play. Saw it from Bryce's perspective with TMac coming open. Has played all over the secondary that they can count on to speak loudly and be on the same page with his teammates.
