Disagree but it’s irrelevant. Fields in games has made better throws than any throw he made in a pro day or this throw.

The three qb’s at OSU before Fields (Jones, Pryor, and Haskins) all looked like all pros in that one read qb friendly offense just like Fields.  They were all in the heisman talk and yet flamed out ferociously in the nfl.

hard to evaluate fields in that offense

Doesn’t really dispute anything I wrote. We are celebrating a practice pass with no defenders here where the receiver slowed down at the end.

Jones was gone before the current OSU offense arrived

Daly’s offense is no different than what Myers ran.

Fields has all the Tools...just hard to evaluate him in that offense as it doesnt require him to do many things he will have to in the nfl.  Not saying he won’t be great...just hard to evaluate...which is why he slid.

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
