I basically panned the guy until recently but Corey Kispert deserves a very hard look at 11.  Love how fundamentally sound he is and his shooting is elite.  Not a great athlete but he would help us immediately IMO with that scoring.

The guy is basically the same size as Hayward and a good, willing defender

interesting article about who the Cavs may take...if they take Mobley, it says we should offer Jarret Allen a hundred mill.

This is ridiculous IMO.  No way in hell do I give him that contract.  20-23 mill per for Allen is retarded.  Somebody is too high.

These NBA contracts are insane.  Chris Paul has a 44 mill player option with the Suns.  44 fuggin mill 1 year.  Crazy

Hornets talking with teams about trading back.

"According to ESPN insider and NBA Draft expert Chad Ford (subscription required), the Hornets have had discussions about trading the 11th overall pick. They have spoken to two teams in particular about a deal - the New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder.

Based on these rumors, it seems as though the Hornets are trying to trade back in the draft. Both the Knicks and Thunder have shown interest in trading up, according to Ford. New York is using picks 19 and 21 as bait, while Oklahoma City is using picks 16 and 18.

Either of these potential moves would allow the Hornets to bring in two rookies instead of one. With a draft as deep as this one, that might be their best bet. Based on the prospects they supposedly have their eyes on, plenty of players they like will be available in the middle of the first round.

Ford reported a few days ago (subscription required) that the Hornets have five different players in the mix that they are focusing on - Moses Moody, Kai Jones, Ziaire Williams, Cameron Thomas, and Day’Ron Sharpe. Outside of Moody, all of these players are projected to be drafted just outside of the lottery. Trading back would ideally allow the Hornets to select two of them."

I’ve been on the Kai Jones train for a couple of months now. If we could grab him and one of the others mentioned, I would consider that a pretty solid draft. There’s no star player in that list, but it’s pretty unlikely there’s a star player at 11. And Kai Jones has immense upside imo.

I wouldn't mind seeing them trade back. The team needs more talent and this could be a sign they are looking at moving on from Graham and/or Monk.

Agree with you on Kai, would love if we trade back and grab him

    • Interesting topic.  I have had a few NFL friends and one told me that he could not work out or train unless the activities and facilities were approved. AI: In many NFL contracts, certain activities are restricted, and injuries sustained during those activities can lead to the voiding of contract guarantees or even the entire contract. These restrictions often include dangerous activities like skydiving, rock climbing, or even engaging in contact sports like boxing. Additionally, injuries sustained while working out at non-team facilities or during personal recreational activities may be classified as "non-football injuries," potentially impacting the player's compensation.    Having said that, I question the reason the person filming this was not helping.  Secondly, the decision to put it on social media makes it seem a bit prearranged.  I do not think this would violate his contract, but I do think it is a bit stupid on his part in that he could be injured.
    • Doesn't make it right.  And as you put it, you wanted to ban him from being country, which is essentially policing who he is as a person lol  I get protecting the "asset", but banning people from living their life is crazy. Russell Wilson likes to play helicopter pilot.  I would deem that WAY more dangerous.  Those things scare me.  I still wouldn't want to keep him from doing it if I were his boss.  I would just try not to think about it, haha.
    • Could do better could do worse. I've seen some people very indignant over bringing him back and I can absolutely relate to the sentiment. But it's just in a backup role. He's also a good locker room presence and an effort player so for a 1 year rental in a year where we aren't going to do much it's fine. This is a development year. And there will be options if need be at the trade deadline. Besides at the end of the day we all knew a signing like this was around the corner after how drafting Mark Williams ended. He should have been our franchise center for the next several years. I don’t put that failure on the Hornets.
