How did the Panthers look with Teddy chumming it up with his old pals on the sideline while we were getting trounced late in the game? You can drink all the koolaid you want but this mgmt has a lot to prove in '21 and it begins with a revenge tour.

I remember whenever we beat them last that there was some theory that they had rested our starters just to fug our draft position. Not saying you said this, but it's a strange phenomenon for a team that has less winning seasons since our inception than many 2nd place teams do in other divisions.

They're champions. The Bucs are champs. Even the Falcons almost won it all before us. If there is an odd obsession anyone has in this fanbase of a team without back to back winning seasons it's getting back to the big game and bringing a title to the Carolinas. If inconvenient truths hit you in the feels it's because you hate to admit it. The Saints and Bucs are the teams to beat if we want to return to league relevancy and contention. Is sitting around singing our own praises and ignoring faults going to get us anywhere in the short or long term? If you find solace in the best current teams in our division being awful half a century ago I guess slow clap for you. Some of us want more.

Well, there have been reports that draft jockeying directly related to the Saints and Panthers have been a thing! Regardless of whether you want to acknowledge it, human nature as opposed to just business, at least on their part, seems to have played a part in their dealings.

Why, because he began with defense? 

You have to build a winner situationally, point, blank and period!

You can't be so dogmatic about philosophies and theories that you miss the forest for the trees! That's how Gettleman did things. Hurney may have tried to build situationally, but he was god-awful at it on the personnel side (outside of the first round).

This is just silly. Matt Rhule has maybe a handful of consistent critics here at any given moment usually. It's not even in the same ballpark as the nuclear fallout the mention of Rivera's name brought here on a regular basis. Most by an overwhelming margin want to see what he can do this season. If it is more of the same there will be questions like any other sport or any other coach. I do not expect that to be the case though. He hasn't looked haggard in front of the media lately because he is taking any of this lightly.

Honestly man I had just woke up and felt a little grouchy when I reacted; I didn't read the rest of the conversation up to that point so I'll just own it because I clearly misunderstood most of the conversation seeing as I was vehemently against the move to sign Teddy even when it happened and almost nothing you've said here in this response applies to my beliefs.
