I'll take "Tell me you're a racist without telling me you're a racist" for 500 Alex

If I post full lyrics to some choice  rap songs on here, will mods remove them?

If I post Elvis, Nat King Cole, or Chuck Berry lyrics will my post be removed? If disliking the vulgarity of rap music and the culture that some sub-categories within rap props up, I guess I may be racist.

But I'm here to tell you, this doesn't fit the definition of racism, bigotry, or even discrimination.

Is it possible that Cam could be distracted in practice while listening to music, which is why it seems like he has issues throwing guys open and anticipating routes in games? Unlikely considering the noise level at games would be similar to what you'd have with headphones.

Does saying "rap" music make dude racist? No. What would make him racist is if he thought that listening to a genre typically associated with white people wouldn't be a problem.

That was basically a KKK meeting at the QB. They knew he was going to be the face of the NFL with a SB win and just couldn't stand it. Using Whistles like you're too young for that call or running QBs don't get those calls.

Haha what? I agree the calls were BS and he was treated differently but a KKK meeting? Hahaha! They hated him because he made plays and celebrated while partying on the field as superman. I loved the hell out of it because he was with us and he is a good dude. Some people didn't but hardly a KKK meeting. If that were the case EVERY player of color who made an impact would be held down. Talk about reaching for straws here jesus man.

Bro, I am clueless as to what any of this means. I guess it was a joke that flew over my head. All good.

It's a term they use here for racists. I laugh every time I see it due to having a neighbor who is afriacn american that drives an F150 he customized. I guess my neighbor is racist too....? Makes no damn sense and is a stupid generalization as dumb as the generalizations they are supposedly always on the hunt for. I don't like trucks myself but if I had to have one I would probably opt for a silverado. I don't think they look too bad. Much prefer an SUV. I drive a toyota 4runner and I suppose it's "bad" too according to the tinder box mafia.

My god. Everything is racist on this message board. Unless you're black, then you can say whatever the hell you want about other races without any repercussions. Don't believe me? A dude literally said "f-150 owner to a poster" How is that not racist? check the Tinderbox too. It's just a mob of bullies who verbally abuse you and call you racist for not agreeing with them.  No wonder why this message board has slowly been dying. Remember the glory days 5-10 years ago? Its seen as a joke my most people around town. The owner (Zod) just lets it happen and is completely out of touch with at least half the fanbase. Self sabotage at its finest. Quite funny.  Ban me? Sure. Call me a racist? Go ahead.  Like I give a shiit. The Panthers are a joke of a team too. David Tepper will run this team to the ground. Sam Darnold as our QB? Just lol. I'd rather have Jameis Winston. We'll win 7 games at most

Getting called a racist based on the vehicle I drive. 😂 I would much prefer an SUV but my wife and I are rehabilitating an historic home and there are times I need the bed to haul.

I certainly didn't mean anything racist about it. I would appreciate if you wouldn't put that in someone's head considering he was talking to me, and not you.

poo.

Is owning an F-150 a problem now? I'm in a middle class neighborhood and am one of probably three or four white families while the other 85% are POC.

There are at least seven or eight F-150 owners in my neighborhood and I'm the only white guy that owns one.

Guess we are all racist...

For owning a truck...to pick up sticks and move things and stuff...

    • To kick this up, The Athletic has a really comprehensive piece out where pretty much all QB questions are addressed. It is worth seeing.  https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7083539/2026/03/04/starting-quarterback-projections-free-agency-draft/?source=user_shared_article I’m putting something specific here but it should have a thread or something. It is an extensive exercise.  This is a dense write up with a lot of column inches used, about the Jets and Murray and Reich, all this stuff.. then it goes to backup QB and there is Dalton.  I am pasting that part: As for Dalton, Reich is installing the offense he was trying to run in Carolina in 2023 before he got fired, and Dalton was with the Panthers then; he’s an ideal option as a veteran backup to replace Taylor. Reich said this about Dalton in 2023: “The way he's throwing the football, the way he works through progressions, the way he handles the operation. … Since day one (when) he walked in the door, I'm like, 'This guy is starter-worthy.' You guys know I've said that all along. He's, in my opinion, one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.” ——— That’s true love lol. I never heard any of this. Pretty crazy I think, considering how the year went.   Anyway the dream is not dead. .
    • The Seahawks traded for wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. He proved to be a key acquisition. Shaheed returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the regular season and had a 95-yard kickoff return in the postseason. Shaheed, though, is scheduled for free agency. So, the 12 games he played, including the postseason, might be the extent of his time in Seattle. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Shaheed and the Seahawks are not close to an extension, and the expectation is that the two-time Pro Bowler will hit free agency. Shaheed has 153 receptions for 2,243 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year career to go along with three punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown. He ranks 13th on PFT’s top-100 free agents. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-rashid-shaheed-appears-headed-to-free-agency
