Should we not play them then? Do we wait until all their players heal before we play them just to please the media? You play whoever shows up. Why should we be penalized if we kick their ass?

Hell no!  You play to win for each other!  Not to get accolades from the pompous ass media.

Yep. Still gotta actually beat them, but at the end of the day all you can do is play who shows up. God knows we've been on the wrong side of this equation plenty in the past.

Exactly... we are going to have a 4-week gauntlet at the end of the year with the Bills in Buffalo, The Bucs in Charlotte, the Saints in New Orleans, and finishing with the Bucs in Tampa.

We will have a chance to show where we fit in the league hierarchy then... until then...

This is a young team that needs to continue to get better and more confident.  Being able to stack wins, regardless of the circumstances, is the best thing for now.

      I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

      Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
