So Cosell is lying???

its clear as day this coaching staff has Darnold on training wheels, he’s not being asked to go out there and make big time throws 40 yards down field, he’s not being asked to go through multiple progressions. Yeah he will make multiple reads once every five throws but it’s pretty elementary for the most part.

You don’t need to make 5 reads every play you do understand that right? Sometimes the first read is open. The fact of the matter is they are calling plays that make him go through progressions. You do also know it’s his 4th game in this offense so I’m sure the offense will probably look a bit different a few more games down the line.

Sam played his ass off today.  Honestly reminds me of Cam on a lesser scale giving everything he had on some poo teams that couldn't protect him.

We better put it on the line this offseason and get this dude a LT unless we want to ruin him like we did Cam.

Keep in mind Gooby was trying to tell me Darnold held Gase back while coaching the Jets. That he had plenty of talent and Darnold was the weakness. He is a strange poster and has been waiting all season for Darnold to lose.

It's weird to think that no matter who our QB is, he'll always get haters. Oh well.

Check out other team sites…pro or college, all have one thing in common….QB fanboys and rabid haters, few in between.

Crazy….and creepy weird.  Enjoy the hyperbole.

No, but you clearly didn't understand what he was saying.

(why am I not surprised?) 😆

Tell that to Cosell. It’s not about need it’s about the coaching staff trusting the QB to do so. Stafford is also in his 4th game with a new team why does there offense look so much different?

I’m sure you understand, how much trades does Gruden make again

Dude, I get it. We all get it.

You want people to think you're really football smart. The problem is you're not, and not particularly good at faking it either.

Do more listening and less talking and maybe you'll learn in time.

don't make me remind people you’re  against drafting Cam since Day 1, or  you being Gettleman number one fan. Go make more threads about lineman play and 1960s football nobody gives fug

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
