Been telling ya'll the truth. The only player on this roster that should be untouchable is LaMelo. Everyone else if you need to move them do so and build a better team. If mediocre is the bar keep doing this I guess but if you want to compete in the playoffs and not wiped off the court somebody has to go.

I'd keep Ball and Bridges. The rest could be traded for the right price.

While Bridges' 3 wasn't falling tonight, he still had 15 points, 5 boards, 9 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. He also shot over 50% going 7-12. He honestly should have shot more.

Bridges has played well most of the season and has great chemistry with Ball. He's also been the Hornet's best all around player most nights as well as looked at as a rising star in the NBA. You keep that.

Why did McDaniels get starter minutes while Bridges sat on the bench? Also, what did Oubre do to get in Borrego’s dog house?

I have no idea why McDaniels played so many minutes tonight though he didn't get starter minutes. No idea why Oubre didn't play much either.

Agree with this. Gordon and PJ should be the first two we get rid of.

Feels good to pay Gordon so much to have him sit in street clothes year after year.  PJ is just a liability and the light has not come on yet, nor will it here.

Didn't see him play in this game so I can't justify it but my guess is because Kelly's the team ball hog.  When dude sees an opportunity he gets tunnel vision and his teammates cease to exist. It's glorious when he's draining them but I think he misses more open teammates than anyone.

Hayward was a gamble that hasn't paid off. That said, they have missed him or at least his play making skills and vet steadiness.

Washington has been better the last two-three weeks, but he hasn't taken the third year leap that Bridges did last year.

Oubre is a better version of Bobcats' Ben Gordon. When he's on, he's glorious like you said. Otherwise, he's meh.

Oubre played 5 minutes or so tonight.

Agree. That is what is so frustrating about PJ, he has the talent, but is not consistent and does not seem to have the drive to be great.  Go get another Scary Terry type to replace him.

I'd rather have a big that can rebound, fight for rebounds, and play some defense. The team has plenty of scoring even if it's streaky.

This is what I was thinking, a big version of Terry, a guy who fights his ass off and holds his teammates accountable.  We don't need more prima-donnas like PJ, all talent and no fight.

I don't like LaMelo playing off ball like they are because if IT or Terry is off that night it's all for naught like the Knicks game.

They need LaMelo with his vision, his passing to start the offense. He's possibly the best PG in the NBA why the heck do you want to change that? Yes he can score but he's one of the best passers in the league, why would you want to do without that?

I understand that he has to learn about pace in different situations but even if he's lacking he is too talented not to play the point. IT and Terry should be his natural backups and let either Terry or Bouknight play the two.

    • I believe I just read somewhere that the Rams don't do Top 30 Visits. I mean, it makes sense from the standpoint of trying to keep information close to the vest.
    • I'm not sure 19 is too high for Rodriguez anymore.  He looks to be moving up boards, but it could be smokescreens.
    • I see XL this way---great athlete.  Good person.  When we drafted him, we knew he was raw.  One year of WR in college (starting) and in HS, he was a QB, I believe. We knew we would need patience with him.  I think year 3 will be make or break.  He is older, and I think that people with his athletic ability have always been better than those with less---but those with less can become more successful.  Why is that?  in my view, it is mental. XL can learn the mechanics and nuances of playing WR if he becomes focused on it and works at it.  I had the opportunity to talk to Armanti Edwards one day after OTAs (great guy) and he discussed how overwhelming it was.  He seemed shocked.  At that time, I knew that Fox hated the pick (I heard him mock Armanti to another coach when he saw Edwards drop a punt from a jugs machine--then I saw Armanti look back at Fox as if to suggest that he was feeling the pressure to please the coach. We forget that these are kids in their early 20s.  At the time, Fox was a lame duck.  Remember when he had Clausen as the #3 QB and was forced to move him up the ladder?  I liked Fox, but I think the climate and culture was influenced by the politics.  Currently, I see another Wr from SC who is struggling, but he is ina  very nurturing, positive culture. Let's see what happens with XL.  I am frustrated too---but XL was a second round talent who was raw and we traded up to get him.  He had 500 yards as a rookie--lets call 2025 a sophomore slump and see if we can't get at least 50 yards per game out of him.  If not, cut bait.
