anyone know when he will have a press conference? I'm dying for one

guessing it would take too much attention away from things right now.  Think that was the point of putting Shaq out there to start stuff off.  In house, they are trying to pull an uspet to help stay in this thing.   So there is something to the team rallying around PJ and not Cam in the present moment.

I would assume early next week Cam gets thrown out there.  Plus, you can put him out there next week and then have him play some maybe I'll start this week and maybe I won't.  Not that it really helps that week.  I mean, Ron knows Cam better than any other coach so I it isn't much of a monkey wrench to have that unknown hanging out there

This isn’t going to end well 🤣 everybody’s all hype like the panthers are about to be competitive when it’s just a marketing ploy to sell tickets and beer. It’s so blatant and everybody shaking their Pom poms like the panthers aren’t going to be the same exact team on the field

Majority of people are hopeful and happy Cam's back but I don't think expectations are unrealistic. Will he be better than what we've seen these past weeks, and will that be enough to win some games? Seems a reasonable assumption. Will he go into MVP mode and singlehandedly catapult the team to the top of the league? Most likely not.

After a year of Timid Teddy and Sam crashing and burning, having someone with the guts and leadership of Cam is just a breath of fresh air. The familiarity and history with the team as well as the karma of getting him back after he was unceremoniously dumped is just the delicious icing on the cake

The other option is qb purgatory. Chill out and enjoy this for however long it lasts nobody is confused about the reality of this situation they just want to have some fun in the meantime.

Yeah.  That isn't what anyone wants to hear right now but that sums it up.  The Panthers are in worse shape than when JR owned the team and I don't see how anyone with a shred of reality can deny it.  Team is completly rudderless and the clueless own, manage, and coach this team.  We suck and will continue to suck for years to come.  Eventually Rhule will get the axe and we will go into another rebuild mode while we wait for the process to play out again.  Rinse and repeat.   LOL.

Oh I’m having fun. This is as dysfunctional as I’ve ever seen the panthers and it’s just made better with how the fanbase is mirroring that. It’s too inept to not laugh at

    • agree to disagree you are entitled to that opinion even though I find the argument completely bizarre based on data. I could type out a long paragraph discussing those areas but what’s the point. I posted a screenshot that showed Bryce in a similar post snap situation with a free rusher in his face which resulted in a TD - that’s what happened on the play so I posted it.
    • I've already addressed this notion in a previous reply. You are basing your assertion outside reality if you think Bryce would have not only been more successful but defeated the Patriots in place of Herbert. Bryce got blown off the field by that Patriots team with the highest paid OL in the league. We've seen Bryce with an OL that gave up 65 sacks and it resulted in the #1 pick. And that is not a defense of Herbert or arguing he is a great QB in any way. He has physical talent but he has been similar to Darnold early in his career in terms of his very up and down perfomances. However that does not change the fact that they have significantly less invested in the OL than the Panthers.
    • I think Tepper has been setting the stage where pending there is no miracle he wipes it all clean.  Think you already have been told that with small things like Evero staying.  Bryce is the guy next year.  OC, DC, everything stays the same.  QB room largely the same.  Nothing would really matter there.  They basically get one more shot and it goes how the schedule paired with our 27th ranked O predictably most likely goes.  Everyone out the door together.  Bryce is a bridge tier QB.  I don’t see Dave surviving where he could be bridge QB here in reality.
