As Cam get's more time to adjust with the receivers and learn the playbook he will only continue to look better. Hopefully this was just a one off game for the defense and we can get things fixed but the biggest issue we had is fix in that we hopefully have our QB back.

Unfortunately this was loss number 6. Probably could only lose 1 more game to make playoffs.

Rhule's seat probably a little toasty right now. The guy that you came in and cut turns out to still be pretty good and your replacements for him where train wrecks.

You made a decent point here. Rhule got taken to school by the HC Tepper fired to hire him and his D he's spent all of our resources for the last two years building made a QB cut to pursue the likes of Teddy and Darnold (LOL!) look like prime Drew Brees.

Yikes. NOT a good look.

Yeah he was phenomenal. Brady didn't trust him enough although he should have.

I doubt it’s trust as much as you’d imagine it to be timing, and a limited playbook despite an admirable effort to cram study, an effort that thankfully kept pj on the sidelines who knows what would’ve happened if he saw meaningful snaps.

But that Taylor Heinicke, bring him back and we may have something.

When Snow pressured and wanted to hit him Heinicke folded.

When Snow had the lead and played soft giving Heinicke all the time he wanted he made plays.

Snow's plan was to get the lead by punishing Heinicke and wait for Heinicke to make mistakes. Snow came in with a game plan that backfired. Underestimated Heinicke's decision making and efficiency.

There was much poo to go around with the coaching, but Snow lost this for the team with his preparation for the week and no adjustments while he waited for mistakes to be made. When you treat a defense at the pro level like a switch you can flip on and off, you will likely lose momentum and the game.

You're not in college anymore Snow!

    • And that makes you right.
    • Mel Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL starter too. Just because the experts make a claim doesnt mean it's true either.  Bryce may be a serviceable QB for someone. Serviceable QBs don't bring you a perennial winner or lead you to the playoffs over and over. Serviceable QBs also dont get 50m plus per year deals which is what a Bryce extension would look like.  The stats show he hasn't been even a serviceable QB in the 3 years he's been here. The eye test shows he hasn't put together 2 franchise QB salary games back to back in 3 years.  Complain all you want about people being negative, but people pointing out that Bryce is held to a different standard than anyone else on the team isn't complaining. It's stating the obvious.
    • We have big bodied WRs and 3 TEs who all have potential and each bring something different to the table. I never saw the need to go out there and try and find a new starting TE.  While it's nice to have a guy like McBride, Bowers, etc, I think a team's better use of the cap is by having TEs on rookie contracts or cheap vets, not having to pay elite TE money.
