Yeah you are right. Ken was a Qb coach for us from 2013-2017. I’m thinking of Whitfield.

Dang, doesn’t help much, another example of Buffalo taking the good from our organization and them being willing to leave. Thanks for the clarification!

From what I've read, calling Dorsey a "coach" when he was here might be a bit of a stretch.

Rivera and Hurney were scared to say anything negative to Newton, and they passed that down to Dorsey as well.

Since Dorsey became Josh Allen's coach in Buffalo, Allen's development has been phenomenal.

Who knows what Dorsey could have done for Newton if Rivera and Hurney hadn't been dumbasses.

With the changes the NFL made to the interview cycle this year, I sure as hell am.

Eh, it can wait a little over a week.  It's not like we are going to beat the Bucs anyway.  Since the game is at home, Tepper can have a locksmith on hand at halftime to re-key Rhule's office and then tape Matt's pink slip to the door.

"A little over a week" from now is when teams can start interviewing.

If Tepper is even thinking about pulling the trigger, he can start digging now.   This season is over.  No more roster moves of consequence to be made.  Tepper can get Fitts to low-key do some research and begin to build a candidate list.

Crazy enough, I think Tepper holds onto Rhule because he gave Matt such a large window to rebuild in.  If it were just a 4 or 5 year deal, he could pull the trigger, but on a 7-year deal it makes him look impatient.

Yes, having to go for it on 4th down counts as turnovers. They brought that up earlier. We lost 9 points that way and gave up two scores on those drives.

that’s a 23 point swing

You know what Rhule was talking about last week and what I'm referencing here. They lost their placekicker, not a punter, so the defense still gave up that many points. There weren't interceptions/fumbles that gave short fields. Don't be pedantic.

Keeping him around to watch him produce another season like this makes him look like a dumbass.

Not that I am trying to be correct, but just for information purposes…

I don't disagree at all, but firing Rhule only two years into a seven-year deal has egg all Tepper's face.  He's got a choice, give Rhule a year three and hope he improves or  pulls a Jacksonville by chalking up the loss now, optics be damned.

The egg that's currently on his face is his own fault for being stupid enough to hire a minor college coach and give him absolute power over an NFL franchise.

Compound that mistake by giving him another year and the "egg" turns into something worse.

    • 5 straight completions in the 4th quarter to get into the red zone and then score a stand up rushing TD and celly in one of the best defenses faces to bring the score within 1 possession against the super bowl champs is "stunned" to you?
    • yes, if you read what I said - that was due to his record breaking 245 yard 4th quarter performance in garbage time when the Seahawks were already celebrating. If Bryce puts up big numbers in the 4th quarter, people like you are quick to call it garbage time stats but seem to get selective when other QB's do it because it doesn't fit your narrative.  also, I'm logical enough to admit that Drake is a great QB and his performance had a lot to do with his protection, play calling, and other aspects. The game does not fall completely on the QB. Just like how the Panthers were still in the game vs Seattle until Horn's penalty changed that. It is a team sport, so many factors, players, refs, coaches are involved and it only takes one thing to change the game. the obsession with Bryce is just nauseating at this point and if you pay attention on here, it's the same 10 users quoting and pieing each other. it's super weird and everywhere else you go, opinions on Bryce are trending upwards. the way the season ended, the vibe at the stadium, the performance, should have everyone excited about this next season. Idk, maybe I just look at life and my entertainment outlets differently than others.
    • Are we sure something hasnt happened to him because that seems pretty shitty to simply abandon this place
