Well, they still know more than you do.

(granted, that's a low bar to clear)

Right into default mode. Same thing you said all off-season and what happened? Every single thing I predicted came true. So anytime you want to compare how high the “bar” is for either of our knowledge, we can do that. How many years you want to go back?

I make a motion that we start with 3-years 💣💥💯!!!

Do we have a 2nd?

I'd suggest you go back about ten years or so and research everything as thoroughly as possible.

Fans were tired of a Rivera coached team that was only playoff potential and lacking the top end championship coaching for the SB. So, they latched on to hope. Nothing more hopeful than the possibility of a rising star from the college ranks.

Reality is there was nothing better than Rivera available.

Gettleman wanting Rhule should have been a red flag to stay away.

Ok. We can start from right now going back. Let’s discuss Sam Darnolds 5th year option you defended many times. While using the argument that professionals made these decisions and shouldn’t be questioned. This after you spent half of a decade bashing everything Hurney/Rivera did(as did I). So it’s ok to question things if you agree, but not if don’t? If you can explain this sort of hypocritical thinking, we can move on to the next item on a long list.

But we know that’s not going to happen.

Yeah... I'm not reading that.

I just wanted to see if you were actually dumb enough to  take the bait.

And I showed once again that your football knowledge is basically the ability to search, copy and paste. If the “bar” is low for me, you’re like puddle on the ground. Quit being a coward and back up your BS for once instead of being a hypocrite. I’m not the only poster with an informed opinion you have pulled this on.

Yeah, not reading this either.

Keep talking if you feel like it, dude. I learned a while ago you're not someone worth engaging in conversation so I don't really care to do more than drop a random insult.

Declare yourself a winner and pat yourself on the back if it makes you feel better. Being a big deal on this message board seems to mean something to you. Not sure what that says about your life in the real world but hey...

    • You are right--it was DC.  I remember talking to him at Belk in Albemarle one day--the Panthers were on a bye and they were (at the time) a disapointing 4-4.  I mentioned that the record was disappointing and he seemed to get a bit annoyed.  He dId not say anything.  I trying to suggest that we will get better, but I think he was pretty upset about it.  No hard feelings, but the man was simply trying to shop with his wife and this annoying jerk starts making comments about his job---I get it.  I apologized, telling him that I was trying to be supportive and not critical--he did not think it was a big deal.  I'd see him at events from time to time-he'd wave or say hi, but it was awkward for me.  Figured I would say something stupid.  Jordan was pretty popular--nothing like she seems to be now--she is holding her own in a man's world...proud of her.
    • Like we have had the last 3 years.
    • In May of 2026, it looks like a challenging schedule...and it probably is.  I rarely listen to the "strength of schedule" conversations that light up social media this time of year. Each year teams improve and decline. I think there's chunks of the year we need to take care of business and the week 5 bye is not desired.  I do think if we don't hit the bye week at 3-1, it's going to be a major uphill battle given the schedule in front of us. This season falls on three people, regardless of schedule strength: Canales, Bryce, Evero.  Canales: Finally can truly coach all aspects of the team and not focus with gameday prep for OC duties anymore. He drives the bus and needs to get these guys in position to win each week. There's no way vets come in and put it on the line every week to watch our QB sh!t the bed (See: SF game last year). Bryce: Despite everyone's obsession with thinking Bryce is a guaranteed extension, I think this year will truly be his "prove it" year. If he comes out the way he has the past three years, I really don't see how vets and coaches can continue to put him under center long-term. He might play out that fifth year as the starter, but I think next offseason his long-term replacement is found. I also think there's no excuses with the weapons and commitment we've made on offense to insulate him with every possible weapon.  Evero: Best personnel he's had since he's been here...no excuses. Figure out how to blitz effectively. Figure out how to use CBs whose strengths are press/man. Figure out how to utilize a talented front-7 to get the hell of the field. Outside of FS and maybe....maybe ILB, there are few weaknesses on this unit.
