He's not a HOF QB.

Nowhere close to being a good enough passer plus zero rings.

He's a hall of famer. He helped revolutionize the game and his raw numbers across the board are hall of fame. Also an MVP. Maybe not first ballot due to no rings and the injuries piling up but he's definitely a hall of famer.

54th all time in passing yards

44th in all time passing yards

5,581 rushing yards

75 rushing TDs

25th all time

I couldn't believe the 44th all time passing yards so looked it up and you are right. Crazy thing (if this website is to be trusted) is he is only about 40 yards shy of passing Kurt Warner, and if he averages a little over 200 yards per game the rest of the year, he would pass Troy Aikman.

Of course with Rhule coaching, I think Troy is safe for another year. I worry, with Rhule coaching even Kurt Warner might be safe for another year.

How did he revolutionize the game exactly?

He can't throw. He never has been a passer. QBs are judged on passing the ball and he has always been slightly above average to below average.

I don't care that he was a glorified RB as far as the Hall goes.

He's a great Football player for us. Ring of honor absolutely.

But even in his MVP season he wasn't the best QB. You can't put someone in the hall that wasn't the best at his position for at least one single year in their career.

He's unstoppable at the goal line. The perfect weapon for that. Makes you wonder if Rivera and Rhule purposely don't have Cam do long bombs a lot because they know dink and dunks to the goal line are the Panthers bread and butter.

He's elite inside the 10

From what I can see he’s top 25 in total TDs amongst QBs all time, likely will pass Steve Young this season - definitely if he plays next season.

Compare him to his peers.

He's way worse than Brady Rogers Breese

Roethlisberger Rivers Manning those guys are all eons better than him.

Then Wilson Palmer Carr Stafford Eli Ryan Probably Luck were all better than him.

I mean during his run he just wasn't that good compared to the other QBs in the league.

Not HOF material.

You are selectively comparing him to his peers.  He didn’t play the game like them nor was he tasked with the same load as them.

Cam is a unicorn.

Good thing you aren’t voting, whatever biased you have is reeking up the place, this weird notion to only bring up his passing stats and ignore the rushing, and to act like 2015 is his only good year is just disingenuous.

Half the qbs you’ve listed are in the greatest qbs of all time argument, he’s not there but he’s def a top 40 qb of all time maybe even higher.

actually I should have stop reading after rivers and Andrew luck got thrown in the convo

He broke the rookie passing record when he stepped foot in the NFL.   And has comparable passing yards to Warner, Aikman, Young, etc.  and yeah, he didn’t play like them.  He was a legit dual player.   Guys that can’t pass don’t have those numbers.

did he get hurt? Did that alter his game and career?  Make him a worse passer? Yes.

There's nobody on that list that you'd take Cam over. Not if you're honest. Especially not the elites.

He's just not in their class.

What are you talking about?

Rivers was a much better QB than Cam.

It's the truth.

Why are you so biased towards Cam?
