Rhule is completly clueless when it comes to evaluating players, especially offensive linemen. He must not have watched Brady Christensen become a consensus All American while  doing a bang up job at left tackle for BYU.

I was surprised Christensen  lasted so long in the draft and thought he was a steal going to the Panthers 70th overall in the 3rd round of the draft, since a lot of  scouts were comparing him to the Chiefs Eric Fisher.

Lasting to 70 should tell you something

The place a player is selected in the NFL Draft is not always an indication that being drafted low is fool proof  or high a mistake.

Two good examples we can relate to  among many, many  others is Greg Little being taken early and  and Sam Darnold being selected third overall by the New York Jets in the 2018 NFL Draft.

This is 3 alone that can't be on the QB no matter how much you hate them..

2 and 3 are the same play.  4 wasn't a sack.

at most there were 2 sacks shown.

On the second one who do you blame for the sack?  Sam left the pocket because of pressure by Jordan's man but the actual sack was done by Moton's man, but it really wasn't Moton's fault.

The LT panther bar is as low as it can be, still Chirst has proved in just 2.8 weeks he is the best on the team.

I still maintain moving Chirst to LG and finding/drafting a LT....

Also need a new OL coach. Sure he didn't have much to work with, but also seen other coaches take similar talent and do better,

Look at the YouTube tape then.. And QB pressure are also a thing.. The 2nd sack is on the interior as a whole.. Because he couldn't step up.. from Cam Jordan outside pressure and when he tried to escape is when Cam got him.. But the problem is the pressure is getting end to easily and to quick..

The line is terrible but Darnold is completely blind to the pressure as well.  There were a couple times a guy ran right into him, and it wasn't from his blindside.

I get it that the line should be blocking most of these guys, but aren't there hot read situations where he's supposed to see that coming?

What happens when your hot read drops the ball?? like dj did 3x, And Chubba did twice...

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
