Cam will be 46 and on the couch and there will still be members of this forum saying we need to give him a call.

You never seen Superman?

No, that's not true. I'll speak for his bandwagon and say, we think he has 3-5 good years left and from the looks of it we are correct.

He was the superior QB on this team by far off of his couch and feeding the kids. He proved he can still be a force in the NFL. With a full training camp he could still be better than half the league. We went to the Superbowl with Jake.

Our QB only needs to be better than Jake was at the end there. With Cam here and Brady perhaps hanging it up, we could battle for NFCS the next three years while we groom our draft pick if it's Strong or someone like that.

Nothing wrong with building a real winner instead of this fake 1000% winning crap.

McAdoo also likes to use the tight ends. Cam NEEDS a TE in his offense remember Shockey remember Olsen.

Cam came off his couch added to his NFL records and showed himself to be far superior to anybody in that QB room all without a training camp all without practicing with DJ and Robby for months.

His class, his leadership really makes me proud of the man he's become and I'm glad we were a huge part of that as a community.

Cam is welcome back to Charlotte the most vocal against him are not the majority. Most of the city absolutely loves Cam.

Anyone that thinks paying what Jimmy G would want on TOP of having to TRADE additional assets for his is out of their minds. Because his 'dead cap hit' is 1.4M, meaning SF is in the driver's seat.

Jimmy G is more name than QB - the run game and defense carried them on the SB run, and this past weekend special teams won the day, their offense didn't even score. It was a blocked punt I think for a scoop and score and a late FG for the win. Jimmy didn't play a huge role, and similar to the DAL game threw another INT. This Jimmy G talk is not it, we also don't have nearly the defense, or run game they have had in his best year with them.

Darnold is here outside a miracle, and we're not getting Wilson, or Watson, or Rodgers. Any other veteran is likely only a back up viable option. But why pay for that since PJ is much cheaper.

Cam is likely the only player we could sign as his market is likely going to be extremely thin unless he just opts not to play.

Those stats are very misleading because most of those TDs come from runs, something Jimmy G doesn’t do a lot. Instead the running backs get to run and get the rushing TDs. Cam might have thrown less ints but he also played less snaps and in 2020 he had lots of games where he couldn’t even throw for 150 yards.

I just read yesterday that we'll be all-in on Watson once things heat up. I'm not saying we'll get him, but I damn sure believe our eyes are still on the situation.

Does Cam want to play here again next year?

If so, what's a fair deal compensation wise for both him and the team?

I tend to agree that given a legitimate/normal training camp Cam would earn the starting job over Silver Platter Sam...

...then again it was clear TB5 would have done the same but S.P.S.'s fragile psyche wouldn't allow for some healthy competition 🤦‍♂️🤣

You sure it's Sam's fragile psyche? At this point it seems more like Rhule's fragile psyche.

Cam '20 - 21 TD, 15 Games

Carr '21 - 23 TD, 17 Games

And what do your eyes say?

In the words of Aqib Talib, "People that dry hump stats to make a point probably prefer reading sheet music to hearing the song."

Cam is sadly done as an NFL starter in this league, period.
