Is the NFL priming us to have new minority owners?

With the NFL looking into the scandal in MIami where the owner paid Flores $100,000.00 for each loss and other issues pertaining to what Flores has in his lawsuit.  Plus Daniel Synder's problems in Washington.

Do you think the NFL is going to push them to sell and if so do you think they will push minority owners?   

The NFL can make them sell the team but can they make them sell it to a minority?

First of all there are several articles that these two could be forced to sell by the NFL like they did to Richardson.

Secondly the constant pressure on teams to hire minority coaches is an annual topic.

Teams don't come up for sale very often and it would seem to me that the NFL may try and get at least one minority owner.   

You guys freaking out about a simple topic is childish.

I’d be shocked if they forced any owner to sell outside of blatantly racist/obscene video or audio footage.  As long as they’re making money, the other owners don’t care.  It hasn’t hurt the brand enough for them to care and affect the bottom line.  Snyder is likely going nowhere

An article I read earlier today on both teams says differently. 

Richardson was forced to sell for far less discrepancies. 

Dolphins' Stephen Ross could lose team by owner vote if NFL investigation into tanking allegations proven true

Incorrect, he was not forced to sell, he decided to after he found out could not do ‘his own investigation’ (lol) into UKNOWN discrepancies because he paid several victims millions of dollars to not discuss ‘blue Jean Friday’ (rolls eyes).

Point is due to legal non disclosures, no one has a clue what happened except the people that will face (by their own choice) severe legal ramifications for speaking out.

Millions of dollars to several people and legal non disclosures, before during and after deciding to sell, suggest something very very bad was going on - and no we are not taking racial slurs, blue Jean Friday, or creepy letters (hopefully that’s obvious).

While he sold it under terms more his liking.  He wasn't keeping the team and had he not sold it they would have made him.  Indirectly he was forced to sell.   

Miami and Washington's scandals are far worse.  That's the point.

First off, NFL owners would have to give a 3/4 vote to vote Ross out of Miami. That is 24 of 32 yes and 8 of 32 no, meaning Ross just needs 9 no votes to remain. Dolphins, Giants, Texans, and Broncos all named by Flores will give Ross 4 of the 9 needed to stay right off. 

Secondly, even if Ross is forced out it won't be to a minority as there is already a guy named Bruce Beal Jr. that is lined up as the next owner of the Dolphins. The NFL and its owners have already approved it and the paperwork was completed in 2016.

      Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.

      I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce

      Yea Bryce was definitely a top half qb the second half of last season but I'm not sure Canales is 100% sold on him.  Like I've said in another post I think that's part of why we talked to so many South Carolina players in the draft process.  I think they are doing early due diligence on Sellers just in case.
