I don't know that all that many people thought he would be gone as thought that he should be.

Man have the panthers ever botched this opportunity to run the NFC south while every team reloads. Now it’s essentially a level playing field other than TB12 and Father Time is knocking. 
 

Combined with a high pick in a weak draft, the HC being detestable, and an owner who’s meddling but clueless…pretty bleak for Carolina
