We have very different definitions of "solid". He was terrible last year.

When you're a former top 10 pick traded a year later for a 3rd you ARE a bust. We're trying to rehab him but year one of rehab resulted in quite the relapse.

Is it his fault he was a top 10 pick?  He. Any help where he was chosen.  He’s a tall and long corner with good speed.  They don’t grow on trees, and certainly can’t be judged by a handful of games.  It’s amazing how people on here give some guys a pass for years, yet are ready to discard a player after a few games and label him a bust.  There are so many nfl players who hit their strides year 3+

I'll repeat. When you're a top 10 pick and you're traded for much less a year later, you ARE a bust. Josh Rosen is a bust. CJ Henderson is a bust. We hope that we can salvage Henderson's career but early returns don't look good.

New coach.  New regime.  Personality issues.  That’s what led to his trade.  Not lack of talent.

anyways - we shall see.  I still think he outplays Jackson l.  And if he doesn’t - he was a 3rd round pick for us.  So our expectations shouldn’t be sky high anyways.

It's worked before. Your best bet of landing a legit QB is with a VERY high first round draft pick. So yeah, if #6 overall could get us either a good LT or a spectacularly bad QB, I'll go with option B. We're still a 6-7 win roster with a good LT. That'll be good for a pick in the lower half of the top 10 again. And likely watching those QBs we covet go just out of reach. Again.

Then when you do run into your 'Franchise' QB you're still looking for a LT.

Weird take.

A 3rd and starting te

It was a bad trade.  But keep spinning

Meh - Arnold had more fumbles than he did touchdowns (0) and had a measly 400 yards.  So you consider that starting quality but Henderson is a bust?  Biased any?

Adding a top tier LT would complete our transition into the new old Cleveland Browns. We all saw the best LT of his generation suit up for them for a decade while they sucked balls each and every year. 😂

At the same time, after drafting Joe Thomas, they spent 3 1st round picks on Qbs over the next 7 years. Those picks: Brady Quinn, Brandon Weeden and Johnny Manziel. So really we'll probably turn ourselves into the old Browns either way.

You are not as smart a person as Matt Rhule

Actually that bar isn't set really high and probably pretty easily crossed by many in here. And that's not a commentary on how brilliant this community is

IMO if Ike is there you pull the trigger unless you get one hell of an offer and Neal or Cross might be available still. If Ike is gone and Neal is there then, again, it depends on the offer. If Cross is the one left (other 2 are gone) then Its a real mess- cuz I wouldn't want to miss out on a LT, but he's not really the one  I want. I'm not sold on Penning later either, so this would be a tough decision, but I'd probably trade back. It all depends on who's still available and what is offered. I don't think anyone would just be stuck and not consider the possibilities.
