There are people here who want an OT at #6 because this is an OT draft.....and we haven't had a decent OL in a long time.   Which is the key cog along w/ QB to have offense in the NFL.

With Baker behind a good OL? If CMC is healthy for a majority of the games thanks to the OL? If McAdoo is a decent OC and Campen has our new OL playing well quickly? If Horn stays healthy and plays to his draft status? If YGM shows any growth/development? If Brown plays more like his rookie vs his sophomore year? 
-Hard to tell. Anywhere from dead last to squeaking in as a wildcard…

We’re already in jets and browns territory lol 5 years without a (healthy) franchise qb. This team is literally being built the way you want it so I don’t know why you’re in this thread complaining that other people want it done another way. 
 

this team is definitely taking a tackle and going after Jimmy or mayfield and if the tackle isn’t there they’re definitely going edge rusher. I will be the first to eat crow if they actually have the balls to draft Malik at 6.

Not at #6.  Not when you just own the #6 pick and your next is a 4th rounder. 

if we had been accumulating draft captial like a rebuilding team should.  Then yeah, we should find a way to add QB talent.   But still not at #6.

It’s gonna be Pickett, fans are gonna have to accept that. We went to college teams pro days and only looked at QBs, it’s not gonna be anything else.

It’s not. I agree wholeheartedly with what TRG said. They’ve spent enormous resources on building the 1980’s football team that so many here want in accordance with Matt rhules archaic philosophy on football since he got here, and the fanbase will be the ones reaping the whirlwind, some of them gladly.

 

id love to be wrong but it seems pretty obvious they’re just gonna stay put and take the third best offensive tackle in the class, before drafting #10 next season when we’re all having the exact same discussion (well not me, pretty sure I’m done)

at this point it’s probably just best to hope the QBs don’t go to the teams you hate.
