It looks like we will likely  have a shot at one of the top 3 tackles (Neal, Cross, or Ekwon) in the draft tomorrow night. The Jags just gave Cam Robinson a 3 year extension to lock down their LT spot.

 It’s highly unlikely they’ll be taking a LT with the first pick. All three tackles would have to go between picks 2 and 5 for us to miss out on one at the #6 spot. I don’t see that happening.

Now, we just have to see if the front office is content to stay put and solidly the line, take a risk on a questionable rookie QB, or allow a team move up to get us an additional pick (or picks).

If its me.  Take the LT.  Maybe move back into the 2nd somehow and take howell.  Go try to see if we can win some games.  I cannot stomach watching darnold again.

There’s no bigger impact of improvement for this team at 6 then taking a LT. As bad as Darnold is, Erving at his position was WORSE

I know TJ watt gets big blame, but I believe when the main damage happened was during Cam attempt to running down a defender after Kevin Benjamin didnt even try to tackle the INT. Wish I could find the video, but you see Cam going alll out and landing on his arm/shoulder. Never was the same.

Erving was bad from game fuging one. At least Darnold made a few people think he was worth a poo for 3 games.

We’re moving back. Get used to it. They like a Lindenberg+Christensen combo or a Penning + Christensen combo. It gets them in position to take another QB and gets them the final piece to the OL whether at C, G, or OT.

We’re most likely not staying at 6, so we’ll most likely not get one of your top 3.

We like Christensen enough at LT. A vet signing is still in the works.
 

We’ll look at interior linemen later in the draft and focus on other options earlier on.
