So again if you know this..

How does it benefit team to poo or act drab about a player that has to be on the field for you??

Your whole thing doesn't make sense when you believe what you just said..

You are the one using the words "poo or act drab about a player." I never ever even suggested that Tepper should do that. What I did say is that he didn't have to lie through his teeth about Darnold being a "very good" QB, and I fully stand by that. That was unnecessary bullshit, and anyone with half a brain can see right through it. Throughout recent history, we've seen execs be coy about a QB's status. Saying that someone is "very good" when they're clearly not is stupid strategy (if strategy at all).

IF he actually believes that:

He's really holding on to the glimpses he saw those first three games of Sam ....

That's the ONLY thing I can think of.

Even during those 3 games Darnold had moments of the same Darnold we saw for most of the season.
Questinable decision making and bad turnovers happened during those 3 games.
Thing is CMC can cover up a lot of problems that Darnold has.
Once Darnold lost CMC that was that. The real Darnold stood up.

The Jets are a poverty franchise that has been run poorly for how many decades now? Even they weren't talking up Sam Darnold publicly like we are. They said enough of this poo and told him to kick rocks. We need to do the same. Guaranteed money or not.

They didn't poo on him publicly and got value for him.. a 2nd 4th and 6th round pick.. Because they didn't show their hand and fleeced us..

Thank you for making a point..

Teddy's sin was he criticized a coach and they way he ran the team.

If you think race is a qualifier that a coach or owner would have for his qb you are delusional.  It only matters if they can play the game and win.

Race only matters to the fans that think it does.

Teddy criticized the staff in a fair fashion, but he didn't go into detail publicly until after the trade. Maybe he was outspoken behind closed doors in a way that Rhule's ego couldn't handle. At the same time they coddle Darnold during every presser, I'm assuming because they're embarrassed that they got fleeced so hard in that trade. If he loses the starting job to a rookie or Jimmy G/Baker, it'll be interesting to see if they finally admit to totally botching on that move.

The Panthers got outsmarted by arguably one of the worst franchises in the last two decades. As dumb as it gets.

50 games, 54 TDs, 52 INTs and 29 fumbles

The Jets didn't have their owner going before the fans saying how he was a very good QB. Everyone except us knew they had seen the tape we for some reason ignored. If you think a rookie QB can't possibly play better than the worst starting QB in the league last year you might just need to take a break.

And guess what the Jets did .. The right thing to do when in that situation..

Don't down play the assets before you get rid of it or have a replacement..

Didn't you ppl learn anything when Tepper did this dumb poo last year and ended up paying Teddy to play on another team..

Thank god he isn't making that mistake again..

If you don't know when not to tell the truth and when to lie, and that they aren't the same thing, you haven't lived long enough to be trying to criticize me on such matters.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
