Oh, we're going to get one of those now? That's by far the most exciting news of the off-season!

Come on..

When have you had a problem or heard anything bad about the Panthers medical, nutrition, or weight staff??

I'll wait..

https://larrybrownsports.com/football/former-panther-graham-gano-calls-out-mishandling-injury/585838

Giants kicker Graham Gano, who was with Carolina from 2012 to 2019, called out the Panthers this week for mishandling an injury he suffered in 2018. Gano says that the team misdiagnosed a left leg injury that ultimately cost him the entire 2019 campaign.

“It was potentially career-ending,” said Gano, per Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News. “That whole thing was mismanaged. They told me I had one injury when it was actually a lot worse than that. What really needed to be fixed wasn’t. I shouldn’t have missed the full season I did. But there’s no changing it now, so I’m just thankful to be playing here [in New York].”

The former Pro Bowler suffered a fractured left femur and did not recover until he underwent knee surgery in 2019 after getting a second opinion at New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery. Gano also says that his departure from the Panthers was frustrating because they cut him without giving him a chance to kick again after he got healthy.

Stop.. 1 player in how many years...

And let's not forget teams use to send their players to see our foot specialist before he retired..

Reality check this team hasn't had major issues with the medical, weight or nutrition staff..

So there is no reason to invent reason to be worried about??

Shaq has been able to gain weight and keep his speed.. So did TD, Mario Addison, M Hayes and many other players who needed to gain or maintain weight related issues..

Also let give credit to Tepper for 1 thing.. For his investment in technology, equipment and analytics concern training pro athletes..

You asked. I answered. I could've talked about TD's ACLs, Beason put on the field with a duct taped together ACchilles, Cam playing with a torn rotator cuff in his throwing shoulder on a team out of the playoff race. There's ton of examples.

TD Acl was freak injuries on the field.. They didn't happen because he didn't get enough training or was to heavy for his body to handle.. Also give credit for the staff getting him back 3x from career ending injuries for that time..

Beason and Cam choose to play with those injuries..  Let's remember Cam apprehension to getting surgery for anything isn't the staff fault...

There's tons of example the other way as well...

But again let's give some credit for Tepper making a significant investment in all these departments..

Not sure what you're talking about. I've always hammered the Panthers about how the TD, Beason, and Cam injury situations were handled.

Okay cool.. I didn't see a big movement of opinions against our training staff..

But if you've always had a issue with the training and medical staff okay..

I haven't so agree to disagree..

As he gets older he is naturally going to put on weight.. So I like the fact he will do it under the supervision of a pro staff..

Yeah, I made the comment off the cuff without actually looking at him. He's definitely built like a DE.

As I was thinking about what we're missing at this point, I wonder how much they hope to use this guy this year.  Is this guy a sleeper?  That spin move looks NFL caliber.   With Burns to mentor him, I  wonder if he gets some snaps at Edge this year.  I find this pick intriguing.

    • um... make it make sense. 200+ yards, no fumbles so why only a 75?!
    • They have for sure set the offense up to be successful with a QB that can run it.
    • I don't think Dan Morgan will be gone after this season, but some requested a potential 2026 GM candidate list. So here ya go. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Top/Rising General Manager Candidates: Notre Dame general manager Mike Martin Atlanta Falcons vice president of player personnel Kyle Smith Tampa Bay Buccaneers senior personnel executive Byron Kiefer Detroit Lions assistant general manager Ray Agnew Detroit Lions director of college scouting Brian Hudspeth Houston Texans assistant general manager Chris Blanco Former Indianapolis Colts chief personnel executive Morocco Brown New England Patriots senior personnel executive Alonzo Highsmith Buffalo Bills director of player personnel Terrance Gray Las Vegas Raiders vice president of player personnel Brandon Hunt Los Angeles Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander Seattle Seahawks Vice President of Player Acquisition Matt Berry Kansas City Chiefs assistant GM Mike Bradway New York Giants assistant GM Brandon Brown Cleveland Browns assistant GM Glenn Cook Chicago Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham Indianapolis Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds Buffalo Bills assistant GM Terrance Gray Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant GM Mike Greenberg Philadelphia Eagles assistant GM Alec Halaby Green Bay Packers director of football operations Milt Hendrickson Houston Texans director of player personnel James Liipfert (may be the assistant GM with Texans now) Baltimore Ravens VP of football administration Nick Matteo Los Angeles Rams assistant GM John McKay Washington Commanders assistant GM Lance Newmark Please correct me where I may have incorrect titles and add any names you think may be rising. Again, I don't think Dan Morgan will be fired after this season, but some requested this following the HC thread I made. I personally like knowing the names of these up and coming GM/HC candidates whether we are searching or other teams.
