No. They are just league supported. I do believe it’s time for a league management change.

Very apparent even in the Pens series.  The refs and league are carrying the Rangers to a possible SCF appearance.  That NY market is just too good to pass up.

New York will win the cup if they keep getting all those PP’s.

I don’t even a league darling rangers could beat Colorado even if every game is fixed. Colorado is brutal, they’ll probably take Igor out game one and without Igor the rangers aren’t poo.

Pretty much they’re a trash team without him and all the ref-supported PPs.

Let's not forget the Canes beat NY 3 out of 4 times during the regular season and the one loss was a shutout by Georgiev (backup goalie).

That being said and in keeping with the thoughts posted, one need only look at the ridiculous disparity of penalties called on the Rangers vs anyone else they play and realize that's why they are where they are. They have a very good power play and they get more of them than anyone else.

Pretty impressive win by the Lightning considering the refs refused to call any penalties on the rags, including several obvious interferences. That missed one on Trouba crushing Perry with the puck nowhere near him might be one of the worst missed calls in the playoffs.

Hopefully the ratings are awful for the stanley cup finals and the series ends in a sweep. It's pretty pathetic how scripted the NHL is in wanting their teams to make it to the stanley cup.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
