Maybe, I can evaluate talent...... Ive seen all 3 play and 1 of those is not in the same class as the others.

You might for all I know be an awesome talent evaluator.

However, acting like an a-hole on a message board doesn’t really give you any credibility. That is usually reserved for people who know how to discuss and argue as an adult.

If you would learn how to do that, it sounds like you could have a lot of good knowledge to share.

Did this fuging guy just throw out the "I started for my highschool team!!" as some sort of attempt at credibility. fuging lol.

Hahahah just wanted to say I played ball before. I know how goofy that's sounds, but the one dude said I was unathletic and don't know anything about basketball.

I agree. I am just sick and tired of the Hornets organization making poor decision after poor decision.

You don't apparently because you still say things like if Wiseman would've been there he would have been the pick. You have no clue what would've happened and saying that is lame. This doesn't surprise me as you epitomize lameness as evidenced by all the quoting. Also, that is revisionist history about Wiseman and I would take your bet, but who really is going to remember in 3-5 years when you can get a real body of work to choose from? Joel in Philly looked like a bust and now look at him. Ben Simmons was an All-Star and now won't even play. I'm sorry dude, but I'm just not going to care enough to be arguing with you by the time their careers pan out.

Wiseman 100% would've been the pick if Ball and he were there. Thats proof right there I know double more than you do. Im not saying Wiseman would've been the right pick, I'm saying Jordan 110% was going to take Wiseman and was considering trading up...... Go back and look how obsessed we were with wanting Wiseman. I still think Wiseman will be a great player. Def would destroy Williams. I think everyone in here would admit it was a blessing in disguise we got Melo b/c Jordan was taking Wiseman had they both been available. That was literally reported. Also, I hope I am wrong, but Id be shocked if Lamelo resigns here. Why would he? Williams lol....

If you know basketball then you know it’s not exactly easy for an RFA to leave. He’d have to force his way out… see DeAndre Ayton who couldn’t get out of PHX even after IND presented him with a massive contract. Hell, see Gordon Hayward who wanted out of Utah and we tried to help him get out… it didn’t work.

He’ll be in Charlotte for a minimum of another seven years and if he’s not it’s because Charlotte got another star for him in a trade. It’s not like they will lose him for nothing.

Why would he not force his way out? I would expect someone like him and his dad to want out before Ayton.... And look at the differences in teams. If you know basketball you would realize the NBA is wayyy to player driven and its about impossible to win a championship in a small market, unless you have Giannias in a year w/o Lebron/Kawaii hurt. Its why no one watches the NBA anymore. The ratings are horrendous. People talk about not watching baseball, but the Braves 7 game series was more watched than this Warriors series. Sad. NBA is more popular oversees these days and that's facts.

Lol this is a dumb argument on your part… player driven or not teams don’t give players away. Melo has no leverage to force his way out without the Hornets getting an absolute haul back. Give me an example of an RFA forcing their way out without the team who has their rights getting a poo ton back.

Not saying we wouldn't get a ton back. We would. Im just saying if we want to keep him we better make some more moves than freakin Williams.... He/His handlers/Dad would have no problem asking out and would any of us blame him?

I mean it’s not the Hornets fault that Bridges decided to be a fool. At this point they are stuck until Hayward comes off the books.

    • 4610 total yards 27 total touchdowns 8 yards per attempt. Completion percentage was usual Cam ie mediocre or below at best at 57.7 and 86.2 passer rating. But the man scored points and moved the ball at will often. Compared to 2652 total yards 21 total touchdowns 6.3 yards per attempt completion % 60.9 82.2 passer rating. Let's just not do things like this. We can acknowledge Bryce improved (from realistically a bottom 5 QB) and hope he can work his way within the top 15 this season without dragging Cam Newton into it and unintentionally diminishing him. That's all I got to say. Carry on.
    • I personally think you are trying to talk yourself into circles here... It's ok to say Bryce played incredible the last 5 weeks... I know there are plenty of people on this board who desperately need the doom-and-gloom narrative, but I genuinely question how much NFL QB play some of these people really have watched when they still question him being the unquestioned starter for next year...  Again, that being said, no one is crowning him at all. I think Bryce is one of the best stories going into 2025 bc his season last year was so outlandishly unprecedented. It's totally fair to personally not believe in Bryce. Plenty of sports "journalists" need to write stories, and that's an easy narrative path... But I think that actual people in the know rank Bryce much higher. That's the fun thing about sports... we shall see!
    • Regardless of how we got here, any rational fan should be excited by how well Bryce played down the stretch. Anyone not happy about that level of play either doesn't know what they're looking at, or they're still trying to drive tired narratives. Obviously, Cam had an all-time rookie season, and I'm not putting the two in the same basket yet, but as someone who has watched every snap of Panthers football since the start of the new millennium (Im old), Bryce was playing at a higher level at the end of 2024 than Cam was at the end of 2012 (his 2nd season). Cam continued to develop into MVP form, something Bryce has to prove, but as someone who watched both (and will stan for Cam always), Bryce was playing at a higher level to end year 2 than Cam did.  Go watch the film if you dont believe me. None of that means anything for the future. But the people who said BY9 couldnt play in this league are wrong.   That being said, the only thing that matters is this year. #20 is perfectly fair IMO going into the season. I mean think about it, how would you rank him??!  His in-season turnaround is one of the wildest things I've ever seen... how do you rank a guy who looked like a massive bust in September and by January was consistently playing at a top 10 level? My excitement level is pretty damn high heading into this season. There were throws from the Chiefs game onward where Bryce had Drew Brees levels of anticipation. Im excited to see what he can do with a full deck on offense, something we really never gave Cam. Really hope and expect Bryce to move up this list this season.
