Not sure if Washington lets him walk but I’d be all over Daron Payne if he hit free agency.

They 100% are. Paid Allen and cant afford to pay two DTs. Teams have already started reaching out for a trade. Would be an amazing fit next to Burns and D. Brown.

Unfortunately the panthers do not have a mature enough fanbase to handle a Nassib signing

That's mighty accusatory and an overall assumption of an entire population you know nothing of unless you have interviewed us all other than your broad statement isn't it? I guess every single other fan would have a problem then except you and I? If you think so poorly of the fanbase as a whole, why don't you just root for another team then?

Jeff king and Gary Barnidge

both while panthers combined for less than 400 yards receiving combined each year together and in 2008 they had less than 200 yards receiving combined.

Both of them would start right now for the Panthers - and I can at least remember some flashes from Gary which is more than I can say for any of the scrubs we got now

None. Save the money for Dayron Payne next year....

Last two months been meaning to start a Payne thread, I hope Finesserererere has gave old herniay a call.... He fills the want and need while being very good. I know the funds are tight next year already (plus no QB too).....feels like pipedream given the cap. Hes going to demand around 15-20 and that feels impossible to fit here.

2023 draft needs to be 90% DL with using early picks too. Even with resigning Burns and whatever Dbrown does, its a shell of the glory days.

    • All signs point to legit. We’ve been way better than our record the last few years it’s just we’ve had brutal injury luck. Also I’ve watched nearly every game this year and 3 things have stood out to me even when healthy from early in the year to now: 1. Early on Lee had some brutal rotations and situational coaching but he’s improved a ton there. We lost some close ones early we should’ve won. Sure most our recent games have been blowouts but in close games we’ve improved a ton there. 2. Defense. Overall team defense has improved so much, it’s not just hot shooting winning games. This D is absolutely a real trend and sustainable. LaMelo in particular has gone from flat out bad defensively to above average. We have so much length we always should’ve been good defensively but it took time for guys to buy in and really hone in on it which they have.   3. Pretty much all our young guys have taken strides forward. Moose’s development as a passer has been insane, Miller is putting it all together to be an elite 3 tier scorer able to hit 3s, mid range and finish at the rim. LaMelo still some poor shot selection but has cut the turnovers considerably. Kon has been a great shooter all year but has steadily improved in other aspects of the game too.      It has definitely been surprising how quickly it all came together out of nowhere but really none of it surprises me. We’ve been building towards this for years now.
