Observation from 9-on-7 run drill: Christian McCaffrey, good at football. Also, Bradley Bozeman getting more run as first center. Pat Elflein is more athletic, but Bozeman’s just a bigger and stronger dude.

Interesting that Bozeman AND Mayfield moved up to the 1's together...
Also, I can't do it either @Steelo Senpai.

More “athletic” I call BS. Just because he can run faster doesn’t mean he’s more athletic

He's smaller and more agile, he prolly has better footwork overall but pales in actual blocking ability.. gets the looks they want in the run game because he gets to that second level.  Boze will be fine and cemented with the 1s.

Erving is hot garbage as a left tackle. I can't believe Rhule trotted him out as the starter last season.

That's my biggest fault (out of many) for Rhule last season. Christensen was better at LT from the first snap he took and barely got a chance.

    • Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan is putting the league on notice early into his NFL career, and 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is well aware.  “I think he’s a stud,” Shanahan told reporters Thursday. “He’s going to be one of the best receivers in this league sooner than later. He’s got all the skill sets to do it, and I think he’s just getting started.”  Through 11 games played, McMillan has racked up 748 receiving yards on 54 receptions. He ranks sixth in the NFL in receiving yards and leads all rookies in the category.  Carolina selected McMillan as the No. 8 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. San Francisco had the 11th overall pick.  Did the receiver out of Arizona catch Shanahan’s eye in draft preparation?  “Yeah, big time,” Shanahan said.  Shanahan also said that he thought the receiver would be taken well ahead of the 49ers’ draft position, but the team did their due diligence when scouting the best overall draft picks in the 2025 class. With McMillan off the board, San Francisco ended up selecting defensive end Mykel Williams with the 11th pick to bolster its defensive line. https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nfl/san-francisco-49ers/kyle-shanahan-tetairoa-mcmillan/1893558/
    • Koochie is playing his best hockey yet so far but it’s a small sample size
    • In basically every win but Atlanta he's had 2-3 plays that were a big deal but he also was part of why we needed those 2-3 plays instead of just cruising.
