Why is PJ Walker EVEN on the team?

What is up with all the PJ Walker bashing? He did his job. Moved the ball, made some really good throws. Made some bad throws at times too. But last time I checked PJ has won games for us too. PJ looked better than all the other QBs in that game. We will see what the next games show us. As for Caroll, he is a rookie playing with 4th and 5th stringers. Nothing to be mad at.

jesus dude he played 50% of the snaps of course he is going to look better

One could argue Sam played better than PJ yesterday.  Sam would get signed if he was cut, PJ could clear waivers and can be stashed on the PS.  I mean we found him has a FA that was just finished playing in the XFL....

A lot of posters thinking all  the second team reps serve no purpose other than to develop Corral.  Ever consider that the coaches are evaluating other twos and needed some form of credible QB play to do so.  No reason to risk Baker/Sam and PJ probably gave them the best look at everyone else.

Other teams find ways to do both.

Its insane to keep seeing people saying we are showcasing sam and PJ.  What in the holy fug do you really think we could get for either.  Maybe a 7th?

      What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.

      Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
