Myles Garrett calls relationship with Baker Mayfield “slightly complicated,” admits “some disagreements”

I think the "but it was weird" was in reference to "...but Baker was a good teammate too, you know I hung out with the offense guys too and..." (obviously paraphrased). I don't think he meant it was weird that Baker took him to dinner / was weird himself, but the SITUATION was weird (which seems likely based on Garrett's comments)

edit: Yeah, the end he talks about "those relationships" being f'd, and he seems to be referring to the wider team relationships, rather than his with Baker.

Gonna predict that Stefanski/Garrett relationship is gonna fizzle out pretty quickly. Stefanski already deciding to call plays, doesn't work out for many head coaches

I hope the Panthers finally take a page out of the opposing team's offense for once and design quick passes/routes to help out our suspect O-line. I'm pretty sure that's what CLE is going to do to help Brisset  and negate the pass rush so I hope we do the same.

As long as Chuba isn't on the field it could work

So basically OBJ was the cancer?

Well...when he's talking to opposing teams before the games, and telling them to "come and get him" from day 1, and pulling the crap of wearing his $10k watch in games, not to mention dropping more balls than he's catching....what do you think?

It is sorta an old school vs new school. OBJ is about OBJ. Garrett goes over and hugs Lamar after Lamar makes a 1st down to pretty much seal a win. They just don't have the winning is the most important thing mentality.

Baker is the opposite. Same with Chubb. Same with Clowney. While Garrett was hugging Lamar and laughing Clowney was pounding his fist in the ground in anger.

Difference between Baker and Chubb is Baker is a leader and makes his thoughts known. Chubb doesn't say much ever.

Kupp wants him back 🤷🏾‍♂️

He'll probably get him.

Week Two is when a lot of unsigned veterans come off their couches because their full season salaries aren't guaranteed anymore.

Given how the team looked last night though, Beckham might not be the cure all some might think.
