I initially liked the Giants here before diving deeper into Mayfield’s Week 2 numbers. Basically, Mayfield was unbeatable in Week 2 games in Cleveland. Granted, he didn’t exactly beat up on great teams, but the Giants don’t fall into that category, either. Barkley will get his yards, but the Panthers will get to Daniel Jones, who was pressured on 18 of his 26 dropbacks against the Titans. On offense, Mayfield gets over his first-half yips from last week and Ben McAdoo remembers to give the ball to McCaffrey and wins his revenge game against the team he coached from his slicked-back hair days. Panthers 24, Giants 20.

I think Baker will be more comfortable simply because he will be facing lesser talent on the DL.  Will he play good? Who knows.  Gunslingers can go both ways.  But I think we will have opportunties for big plays in the pass game. 

really hope we see something better from McAdoo though in terms of gameplan.  We need more CMC and he has to get away from being so stuck on the same formations.  NFL Sirius was talking about that other night about how McAdoo has always been too fixated on his 11 personnel looks and it is going to limit CMC.   Not limit the ability to give him touches but from an actual production stand point.   This team is going to have to be balanced or even leaned toward the O this year to win games.

If we figure out how to stop the run we could blow them out.

      I'm right there with you, brother. I've been a Panther fan since the day the team was awarded to the Carolinas.  We've had some good years, a couple of great years, as well as some low periods and no consecutive winning seasons. But I never thought I'd see such a period as we have over the past several years.   It has gotten to the point of being rather apathetic in watching them. In fact, I told my wife before the Miami game I was watching just to see what new and creative way they lose another game.And early on, it looked like they would. But damned if Miami wasn't more creative than the Panthers.   I'm now older than my Dad when he died (he was 65) and, like you, I've wondered if I'll ever see them have another winning season. I'd sure like to think I will.

      again, I am not his employer, I dont follow his stuff or read any of it including social media, but he has been employed long enough where someone thinks he is doing a good job, not disagreeing he isnt an moron but I am not calling for anyones job for being a moron when it really doesnt affect me
