I thought this was going to be about how in the world Tua was allowed to go back in the game on Sunday.

When I watched him stumble then said it was his back I totally got it. I have had the same issue from a back injury where I'm walking, my back locks, my legs just go and I end up stumbling and have to have help to move. My first thought was I walk like that sometimes even though I did think he had a concussion.

He also grabbed his head before that so I don’t buy that it was just his back

Grass is so much better for the game but it's cheaper to throw turf out there so they can cheaply use the field for more events. They could still do that with grass but it would be a lot more expensive. If it doesn't go into a labor deal then it will never happen.

There is a reason why the big soccer team that came to town required grass on the pitch. Arizona has a dome with real grass on a retractable field. I also saw lines of greenhouses growing crops in the dead of winter in Iceland so the northern fields could make it happen if they were forced.

    • To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.
    • Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
