Well we have been 1-3 in the 3.5ish games he has played. Chinn is a phenomenal player but he hasn't led us to any victories this season nor is he likely to.

I don't think there is a single player on this roster that could perform well enough to outweigh the Matt Rhule and Co. effect.

He is a great player, but I don't know that I'd call him a great safety.

He's badly misused in our current scheme.

I don't know that you could assemble a roster of the league's best players, both starters and backups, and have enough talent to overcome the Rhule Effect, uh Process.

You don't get over hamstring injuries in a week.  I injured my left leg hamstring several years ago playing softball and it took a while for it to stop hurting.  Even now if I turn just right, I can feel where the injury was. So I knew when they said during the game he was out with a hamstring, he more than likely was not going to be playing for a while.

Besides, with the way this dumbass coaching staff was playing him, how much of a difference is it really going to make?

    • I mean, I think you're being a little hyperbolic with the last statement, but point taken.
    • Pass rush was the biggest issue in tonight’s game, and we were tied for 28th in sacks this season. That is a major area of need that has to get addressed this offseason. I just don’t see a path where there’s a game changing QB you can bring in with where we are drafting and quality of veterans that will be available. We certainly can do better than Dalton as a backup, and should ideally have a developmental guy  (perhaps a day 3 pick this year). We have bryce for one more year on a reasonable contract and then I think 2027 is the year that you reset that position (unless he massively improves).
    • Agreed, honestly basically bringing this group back as a healthy unit would be alright.  Brady Christensen should be resigned to a very reasonable deal with him recovering from the Achilles.  Atleast we're alright at 4 of our 5 spots with Lewis, Mays, Hunt, and Moton, Nijman was decent.  While if we can snag a deal on someone, take a stab, however our resources need to go to Linebacker, Pass Rush and a real option outside Tmac (coker is amazing, but if we can get someone who isnt braindead opposite Tmac, we can fully unleash Coker AND Tmacs full potential, cant move him into the slot if racoon boy is out there licking doorknobs).
