He's a really great guy, but we need to find new pastures. I think we can all say that had he just stayed here, maybe things would have gotten better eventually, but that's just speculation.

Never said anything about whether we'd want him as HC.

We likely will have other coaching positions avail. As at least one suggested, he might be a good DC fit.  We see tons of other teams with former HC in various supporting roles.

I don't think you've ever seen a fired head coach come back to a previous team they were a head coach of as a coordinator.  Maybe I'm wrong though
