I think quite a few OCs do that...go over plays with the QB, find out what they like, are comfortable with and what they are not comfortable with.  Seems to make sense.  At least I have heard that a few times before .

He's looking good...................yeah he's looking real good..........anything wrong with the knee?..........nope.........and pain killers?..........nope.

He's looking good...............yup he is........

(yelling from practice in the background.....Pass!!!!..........Pass!!!!...........Pass!!)

You know ......I'm thinking of starting Pendleton over Jarrett this weekend against Dallas.

Well, he's looking good..........real good.

So many coming up with their own narratives.  Heads up, Rhule needed to go, he also isnt the cause of everything you dont like about the panthers.  Most of the players really liked him, you can find plenty of quotes from players today that confirm it.  Luke is a big fan of Wilks, that's why hes there today.  It doesnt have to have anything to do with Rhule.  All of these things can be true.  Was he deserving of being fired?  Definitely.   Is he this villain so much of the huddle wants to scapegoat for everything they dont like?  Probably not.   Let it go.  He can't hurt you anymore.

One last slurp on his way out the door, huh?

I flat out said he deserved to be fired... I just think its ridiculous people try to turn him into this big evil villain.   The locker room was a tight group, they liked Rhule no matter how much we want to see him as negative incarnate.   The players liked Rhule, the players like Wilks.  Both of those things can be true.  Only fans outside of the locker room want to see it as it has to be one or the other.  No matter how much some people want to hate him, he was just a dude who wasnt good enough at the job he was hired for, I dont think it was from lack of trying, he was just in over his head.  Spoiler alert, the team is still going to have plenty of issues after he is gone.  He wasnt the only problem and that will be clear.  Also the roster has more talent now than it did when he inherited it.  Hes not the boogeyman.
