I just hope he calms himself down and stops playing so frenetically. If he could just stop throwing interceptions, he might positively distinguish himself. He has no excuses; he has been here long enough to show whether he belongs in this league or not. Good luck to him.

Spoiler alert. He's only here because he played for Rhule at Temple. Case closed.

It's not exactly a secret that he's our only viable option at the moment, so I'd say that the case is very much open, even if it's by default.

You know how we all can agree Baker is horrible? He has a QBR or 16.6 this year. You know what Pj's is for his career? 16.0.

So, No, he is not our only viable option. With those numbers I would just assume watch Johnny Hekker throw the ball on Sunday. BTW our punter has a career QBR of 66.5

People are really so beaten down they keep thinking the answer to our QB problems is on the roster. It isn't.

No one thinks that Walker, Mayfield, or Darnold is the answer. And only a relatively few it seems thinks that Corral is possibly the answer. Most others think that Young, Stroud, or some other QB in 2023's draft is the answer---some so much so that they support tanking.

Walker is starting this week for somewhat obvious reasons.

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
