The guy was undrafted and cut twice--a 5'9", 225 lb. linebacker.  He was very limited as an athlete, but unlimited as a player.  "Keep Pounding" were his words, and anyone who thinks they are not inspiring or applicable to how we should all approach life probably will never understand what it takes to be great.

We have one of the best, if not THE best slogan....with a HOF legend to go with it.

Your OP should have been thought out more.  Did you really think that it would generate a normal conversation?  You're talking about removing the Mantra that we should be doing more than ever now. 

What I recommend is that you let it go and move on.  The only thing you are going to get out of this thread is more 💩

Yeah maybe but the intellect of this group shows me not too many people can have an intelligent conversation.  It goes to attack mode. Which I find hilarious because the amount of people that trash this team on this board.  “Oh you can’t talk bad amount MY team unless I do it”. Glad I switched years of season tix from the panthers to the canes.  
 

I’ll be spending my time on the canes board. I wish I would have never posted this thread.

I get what you meant by it... but I'd have to agree with you there.... This forum has is as toxic as I've ever seen it.

      Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.

      The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
